Calista and Veda? Those are very nice names indeed.
That's not the point though, You're right. Animals can sense when something bad's going to happen, that's why they run away before a storm or a fight. They must have sensed that your father wanted them out.

I really don't mind you ranting lol. I'm a good listener, and one of my favorite hobbies is ranting lol, I plan to be a critic or a debate speaker, so don't worry.

Mhm. I know, I know.
If we had a choice, we would've kept em till the end of their days.
But sadly, they were both very old - and beginning to get weak. Calista especially.
GAH. Storms. I hate huge thunderstorms at night...Freaks the hell outta me.
Same with Calista. I'm gonna miss her running to my room or my parent's room with me..

Same here (:
Although I would love to be a debate speaker...that sounds like fun.
I do love a good argument. With reliable facts, of course.

Ranting. I do a very good job at it.

I'm also going to miss my cats when I move to my new apartment, which is not very long, so yeah..

Lol, ranting should be made into a profession.

Same. I'm moving to New York on around the 3rd of September - and so I have to get rid of Pocki and Lily May. :_____________:.

It's just all like "WTF." here. Ah well. This is going to be my 2nd time moving up north to an apartment x_x. Bah.

I'm sure we would make big bucks doing that profession!

You're moving to an apartment? So am I!!
I hate apartments too, I've lived in a house forever, I hate living with a thousadn other people, there's no privacy anywhere >.<''

I wonder why anyone would hire people to rant for them

Mhm. My parents need to - since everything...is just BLAH.
It's all screwed up at the moment - so it's all we can afford at the moment. But in a few years, we'll be able to get a house. xD
I'm more concerned on finishing up school though..Homeschooled, you know? Sucks.

Hrm. Don't Lawyers SORT of do the same thing - just a bit differently? xD
Nah nah. It would be a pretty awesome profession though !

You're homeschooled? AWESOME!!
I've always wanted to be homeschooled; why do you think it sucks?
I hate normal school. Everyone always stares and whispers and - blech.
Trust me, you're a lot better off being homeschooled.

nemo3009 In reply to IllusriArt [2010-08-20 08:21:47 +0000 UTC]

Heeh yes yes I am. xD
Only for this past year though.

Well. For one, I'm pretty much teaching myself. It's an online homeschooling program. I can call my teachers for help, but they aren't the most...how can I say this - best at getting back to me ;A;
Since you know, they run a lot of other classes too xD

There is a hell of a lot more work - which I generally don't complain about, but seriously. There are more projects in a single MODULE than there would be in an entire year of real school - most of these projects are pointless and I would much rather write an essay of what I learned. :/

Then there comes a social life. I literally have no social life
It keeps you inside - wanting to get done - but at the same time, afraid that you won't finish quite soon than you expect. *It's happened/happening to me atm...*

While I do most certainly agree it is absolutely wonderful for boosting confidence in one's self (I was bullied to the point where I uhm..sort of almost committed suicide..and was generally just very depressed in real school) - you have a feeling of constant loneliness since your pretty much isolated. It is also quite beneficial for one's grades - at least, if your good at teaching yourself from what the lessons provide.

Personally, I have nearly all A's in all of my classes (I just finished Science with what I believe to be an A - and Social Studies with a near 100%) - compared to the C's and D's I used to get in regular school.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind entirely of being homeschooled again, but I really want some friends. In my situation, and in many other homeschooler's cases - when confronted with the harsh reality of REAL school, being surrounded by them all the time even when not there - it is very had to get out there in the real world. ;-;

WOW.
Okay. Did not mean to make it THAT long of a point.
Sorry if I annoyed you to the point of boredom/anger/RAGEEEEEEEEE!
Tehee.
Just giving a bit of insight from what it's like with my own homeschooling program.
There are some very good ones - don't get me wrong - but homeschooling is also A LOT harder than real school.

I believe if I were to stay in it now, and go on for 7th grade (my birthday, September 22nd - was past the deadline, hence why when I was supposed to begin kindergarten, they held me back a year purely since the deadline was in August. Meaning I'm supposed to be in 8th. -_-) -
Anyway. 7th grade = Science, Biology.
Math I think is continuing Algebra to a bit higher level, anddd all that fun stuff ;-;

But there you go. My point of views and such of what a homeschooler's life experience is like.

You may now pick up your chainsaw and kill me.

IllusriArt In reply to nemo3009 [2010-08-29 11:40:25 +0000 UTC]

Lol don't worry, I won't be killing you any time soon, I love long messages. It shows that you're paying attention and are actually interested in the conversation.

And about the bullying and suicide thing; I get how you felt, I won't even tell you how bullying affected me. Almost every kid goes through the 'I feel worthless and defeated and I should just disappear and do everyone a favor' stage, though sometimes it's not a stage. Most bullies don't get how bad their victims are affected, they just count it as a joke. They don't see that their 'jokes' may be driring people over the edge. It's sad.

And about the social life, I totally get you there too. I'm on my summer vacation and all, and my friend is in a different country so I'm just here, sat on my bottom, doing nothing.
But you know, you don't need school to have a social life. You can just make friends with your neighbors and such. That's how I was when I got homeschool for a brief period :]

And yeah, homeschooling does help improve your grades, 'cause there aren't any other kids around to distract you or whatever, so yeah.. another big point there.

But if you want to be 'norml schooled', why don't you ask your parents?

Oh gosh this is a very late response ;-;
You can reach me on my other, much more active account - sou-bamboo if you'd wish O_O.

It is sad. It's horrible, really - since you have no one to talk to, and it just continues to eat at you until your to that point where you just want to drop dead.
The "jokes" that they would tell was only for popularity. Not for humor. Your entirely right though.

Oh really?
I just started school again (then again, this message is over a month late omfg ) - and I don't really have a social life outside of my family and whatnot xD
Although your point is very strong in some cases, in mine and some others I know - we live RIGHT near the people who bullied us. Like, the community.
Living in a small community + being bullied + self-consciousness REALLY kicks your ass when it comes to wanting to have friends or a social life.

I'm normally schooled now - I just started on Thursday in a really good school district x3
My cousin went there, and my younger cousin is going there now.
It's a little hard to adjust to, but I'm getting used to it.

Certainly, homeschooling puts you ahead of the curriculum. ;_;
Lol I'm learning something in math that I learned in the first of eight modules in homeschooling.

Funny how that all works.

Aw, you live next to your bullies? That's horrible, I think you need to really do something about them. Even having one friend helps.

I've got only ONE friend and ever since she's been around, life's gotten a lot better. As long as you've got even one person standing up for you, you're good =]

And cool, you're starting school now? Awesome, good for you!!

I hope you made it through alright in your new school

EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

I lost some serious IQ points -_-

I should ask that to all the fans

TheSpottedfur In reply to nemo3009 [2010-05-02 07:10:00 +0000 UTC]

I read them so I could form an opinion (in my case, that means for the lulz, because I thought they all sucked. It wasn't just the book that killed half my brain, it was the mindless fan-tards who obviously lost the other half of their brain as well that made me go nuts.)

...I should just show them Alucard, and how he handles "scum"
But then they would whine and complain about how he doesn't sparkle ;-;.

Dumbass fangirls -_-
SIGH.

I read them because my friends forced me to + i wanted to see why everyone loved them. I got Twilame before it became popular actually o_O
Just never read it. Until I tried to see what the hype about the book was, thinking "Oh yay! A good book!"...

Then I read the first chapter and felt my IQ points drop slowly D:
