I just read you reply to black Hersey and just wrote you about a half hours worth of letter then went to look at your pics and lost it. What I said don't listen to heresy she just dosent want competition out there. Try putting your art out on Esty and Pinterest there are to many Digital artists on this site. I do sculptures because of this a lot of sculpture's but that talent is hard to copy. I was noticed a few months ago by A publisher and artist they own Odd Mall and are from Oklahoma they are having a show in my area {Seattle Sept 22nd I already passed the jury they begged me to take my work there to get noticed. This can happen to you. Contact Odd Mall Seattle.com or just Odd Mall See when they are going to have a show in your area. Sell your art other than here there are to many artists on here doing Digital I like DA but to many people are out to get there own gratification just like Vampstock she asked you if you where going to be using stock soon well she is selling stock and wanting people to use it , Nothing wrong with that just using as example. I got noticed on Etsy and Pinterest. I did'nt think my art would take notice at all but it is . I disagree with Heresy your past learning for years before you can sell. I just think she was trying to knock you off. Then look she has a link to face book and wants you to like her work well the more likes you have the more you art gets put out there that's how face book works when you first start it goes no where the more likes you get the more it gets out. Tha'ts what you need to do get it out there. you do wonderful work. I was thrilled when I got the call for Odd Mall. He wanted my work to get noticed , They work all over the US and Canada. Give them a call and see if they are going to have a show in your area. Drop an email to David tell him you are a member of Deviant Art and say Denise sent you. And I would try Etsy and Pinterest get your work out there and don't listen to people tell you it is going to take years and years to learn and that people don't buy art work I can't believe she told you that keep going your doing fine. I just read your letter to black Heresy, Yes you can sell your work and it do's not take years to learn I think she just do's not want the competition out there. I became friends with her on my face book I don't now her well But think she is very for herself you do wonderful work. I started learning a lot off of Pinterest they have a lot of info there tutorials to. It looks like you do wonderful work. I would start Selling on Pinterest I have sold a couple of my figurines on there. But the important thing is I was noticed by a Illustrator and publisher on Pin. a matter of fact they want me to be in there Bazaar on Sept 22 in Lynnwood Washington. Doing things like that will help you get noticed I would also offer your work up in frame posters. Not just cards people probably would by posters over cards. You see there are to many artist's on DA and to many digital works so there is so much competition on here everyone fitting to get noticed so it is hard to get noticed on her sure you get feed back but that's about all and it seems everyone is doing it just to gain some thing for there selves. It is like dog eat dog. I was going to go digital untill I saw DA. so I stuck with my clay and paintings. Anyway if you are close to Washington Odd Mall Seattle is throwing a show and are looking for people to sell there art there but it has to go through the jury first to see if it is what they are looking for. You can go to Odd Mall Seatttle.com and get info. There from Oklahoma and have shows all over the state and Canada so if you aren't close you may write and ask them when there next show is going to be in the area. Tell them you are from Deviant art and mention Denise Miller. They also will sell your art there if you are not able to do the show there pricing is on the site they are fairly cheap prices but this sticks you out in the world to let more people see your work and the more you work on advertizing the more people see. I started out saying to my self oh no one will like my work I can't sell it I was told wrong and doing very well for myself and glad I can do what I do so don't give up Hersey dosn't know what she is talking about I see your work it is very good if not better than hers like I said she just doent want another digital person competing with her .
