As she's a second hand doll I gave a very, very reasonable 500$ + shipping to Sweden from Germany. I've seen the same sculpt with a starting prize of 1100$ though.

Unfortunately not; I got her two weeks ago and love her to bits. ;3

There are lots of others out there though. She is a ball jointed doll/BJD from the company Volks and the head sculpt goes under four different names (the company chose to name the four original editions of her differently): Nana, Kira, Sara and Megu. Just tell me if there's something else you want to know. <3

Thank you so much!!!  It's comments like this that keeps me going and, needless to say perhaps, they means so very, very much to me! ^_____^ <3 <3 <3 I have very few friends (mostly by my own choice) and that means I have very little access to feedback on, well, everything I make.

Each and every one of my resin family members have their own background story (many of them sharing the same) and I do believe they have souls. ^_^ That's one of the things I love most with the hobby, I think. *_*

well i don't really have much friends either. but i prefer a few very good ones over allot not good ones.

What kind of backstories do they have? i'm curious. well the most fun part is giving them personalities and see how they change over time, same as our does.
well i hope mine have souls too. well the haven't haunted me or do something similar but when i look at them, there is this feeling as is something there.^^

True words, dear! Very true words indeed! ^_^

Most of my dolls are split in groups according to which story they belongs to. My most prominent one contains of Dollzone's Xi, Ying and Cloud and is a light fantasy, gothic adventure thing set in 18:th century central Europe. I use it for my children's fairytale show with them on stage (well, mostly floor really XD) with me. By now we have made 50+ appearances and I just can't imagine how I would manage without them.

Another one that means a very, very much to me consists of Bluefairy lads Jaden and Benjamin, a.k.a Nils and Benji, whom I for that matter have a feeling you might just have encountered before. ;D They belongs in the late 1930's/early 40's U.S. and is a vaudeville duo. (Yes, I'm a history geek. XD) Their adventures are pretty much the opposite to the one mentioned above, dealing with everyday occurrences and life in general in that era and line of work. Even though I've written one novella and nine short stories about them by now they are meant for myself rather than for other's to read (except from darling Nihmo), which is very rare for me to do. (Also I had a good laugh when I were looking for a sculpt to represent Benji, who's full name is Benjamin, and decided upon Bluefairy's Benjamin. XD)

As for my other dolls there are all kinds of lesser stories, almost all of them with historical setting and something supernatural going on. My latest family addition is a girl based on my favourire World of Warcraft character (and there my nerd level rose to unexpecter heights...) and I'm planning on another two Bluefairy tinies to be made into sisters with a backstory in 19:th century rural Sweden.

Now let me throw the question back to you: may I ask what your dolls personalities/stories are like?

how funny, my brothers name is benjamin.
your stories all sound so interesting i hope you like mine too.

well i have a main story which every character is involved with it.

first we have there Nanuk ( Zaoll Luv) she i the apprentice of the Keykeeper Manuel de marquise ( Dollshe aramis) they're job is to keep the balance between the worlds.
so before Nanuk is a full Keykeeper, she has to pass a final task / test. 
Her task is to find the first mask of the Kirikröme, which holds unknown power and is the reason why the forest fell out of balance. The Kirikröme are made of stone and are born from the earth. They have grey skin and ginger hair and eyes. They usually hide their faces with wooden mask. 
They like females in every shape, since they use them to breed ( they don't need it though) 
they very kind to women and cherish them deeply but very cruel to other male species. ( it's kinda rivalry thinking) they also don't have any females in their species. 

The setting is in the whispered forest, a very deep and dark forest, where not everything is what it seems.
But Nanuk isn't alone, she has two Companions Bogumil ( Soom Phonolus) and Mushka ( Soom hyperon)
Bogumil is a wolfling, they live far in the north in the mountains, where everything is ice and snow. they can transform in very large white wolves. Mushka used to be a monk, but he loved to drink and gambling, so they banned him from the temple. i'm not quiet sure when joined nanuk to help her.
So thats the main story. 

The side story involve around Koichi ( Unoa L-bi) who has gotten lost in the whispered forest. He meets there Juro ( Plasticmoon teru), who is a spirit walker.( a kind of ghost creature) They tend to eat humans, ecxept Juro, he is a vegetarian and unusual kind, of his species. He lives in an old cabin which has been built ages ago by humans.They're very tall ( 3 meters) and thin. and also creepy to look at.

Kenji ( iplehouse SID Lee), Koichis brother searches for him in the whispered forest. there he meets Kealin  ( mini fee Shushu) and Rivai ( Withdoll Juwel), the two catlings, they're similar to wolflings, they can transform into cats. and they're usually the cause of great mischief .^^

so thats my doll story so far ^^i hope it is not too cliché.^^

I do have a fondness of focusing on detailes when taking pictures and to see how they can help creating the mood and/or message I want to show.
