If you had to choose one of the Resident Evil games as your favorite, which 1 would it be and why?

Urmm well I have only played the newer ones as I haven't played 1,2,3 or Code Veronica, well I would have to say Resident Evil 4 this is because I enjoyed a solo playthrough and it did have quite a few scary moments, also I loved the storyline too it was simple but effective, so how about youu what one was your favorite and why??

I've played all of them except for Dead Aim and the ones on handheld consoles. I would have to say my favorite was Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. It was different from the other games because Nemesis was chasing you from the beginning of the game until the very end. He was absolutely relentless. My friend and I used to play it in the basement with no lights and about 30 feet of darkness between us and the stairs. When Nemesis came crashing through the window in the police station we were terrified. It was all very fun though. If you get an opportunity to play the older games I recommend it.
