Question for you, I'm also asking a few other artists this too. It's good to get multiple sources on stuff. In my current sketch I'm trying to work on perspective in particular I guess what they call both atmospheric perspective and extreme low angle perspective. I was wondering if you had any tips, advice, or even places for me to check out, books? Trying to step my game up to the max.
Sketch Perspective Gesture My friend added in better lining and I'm trying to learn to determine how to adjust the body to fit the image better. As well as how to determine where my horizon line is? I see my vanishing points. I just don't want to f it up.

Makes sense, it seems that those two tools can be hard to control and they don't always cooperate the way they are supposed to. Like the mid tones or the shadow. Shadow sometimes comes out bright light. Which seems odd. So I can see why you say that. When I have used those I test and ctrl z if it doesn't do what I want it too. So how do you pick your color palettes out for shading? I try to go for what I think is closest but I can't always find the color I need since sometimes its too harsh or not right, searching for color can be a pain at times. It's not like colored pencils since there is literally thousands of colors and blending is achieved differently. I will build a palette on the side of the image if I have trouble so I can pull it when I need it to avoid issues.
