Yes! I think... Im halfway accomplishing my resolutions, which I want to feel good about, but ultimately means Im coming nowhere close to completing them hehe

Hah, that's kind of confusing. Those must be some pretty interesting resolutions, to be halfway accomplished and yet...still so far from being done.
I totally forgot about making some resolutions for myself. "New Year's Resolution: make a resolution."

Well, I started in Fall of '06 for electrician stuff. Then I switched to basically what is computer security. But, I haven't been able to go full time. So, I'm coming up on my fifth year. ^^ At least I'm a nerd and actually enjoy school though.

Yea, I've been crazy hyper with friends. So, I was like must come back and chat more with new friend as well!
xD. I'm not sure yet, if I'm going to dress up. I know my bestfriend is going to try and make a costume of Jemima(from Cats) and I'm going to join her as Mr. Mistoffelees(also from Cats) but it's kinda last minute so we might not make it in time for Halloween. If we don't well, we're still going to wear them whenever, cuz we're cool like that. ^^ I might just improv something else for Halloween.

Oh, man I've been pretty creative lately and your steampunk creations have inspired me. I want to try my hand at that..but..I've no idea where to start. Where do you even find all those interesting trinkets to use in your pieces? And how do you put them together? Glue, melting the metal,etc..

hehe I havent done it in a while- I might now also! I use anything... old and broken jewelry and devices and such, pieces from my workshop/garage. Every once in a while the crafts stores will switch over their beads and put everything old on super sale, which is when I pick up those. Buttons will have cool things that you wont find in beads. But the hardware stores sell the best stuff for cheap and you can pick and choose. I go to small mom and pop types. They have keys and such too.
I mostly stick to metal clamps and hoops when I can. Also stitching. Sometimes glue if I think it will hold well enough. Soldering only when I have to cuz the fumes freak me out.

Oh okay, thanks! I'll have to start building up a collection of trinkets now. I'll ask around for old unwanted jewelry, look for some mom & pop type shops you recommend. I feel like I'm gonna go off on a treasure hunt! A lot of my spare parts at the moment are old computer stuff and whatever I have left over from other projects. But, they don't quite fit the steampunk tone. ^^
Okay, neat. I've never done soldering but my dad has, so he could probably help me with that. Heh, fumes!? Well, I've probably been near worse..I'll take my chances!! xD
