I read your post, by the way. The topic is definitely thought provoking. It's an acknowledged truth in literature that no story is new, that what we play with are combinations, premises, and presentation. This idea applies to other forms of art as well, which is why I find it curious that it's not more widely considered. As long as you aren't blatantly stealing someone else's material for your gain and/or the creator's detriment, it's impossible to prevent influences on your work (conscious or subconscious), and equally impossible to identify an idea you think is your own that happens to be similar to someone else's idea of which you were unaware. We are all human, after all. If there weren't similarities in our thought processes, no creation would mean anything to anyone other than the creator.

I'm flattered you'd ask, but I'm not sure I'm the best choice for that. I'm busy enough with school that I haven't had time for almost any artwork, and I don't have a tablet with me in college so I can't do any precise work in Photoshop. The answer is probably that I can't do it. Sorry!
