Im a little too obsessed with the 07th expansion series- a little TOO much for comfort ;D It's great to see an 07th expansion cosplayer on here who is actually an active member. It's rare to find members like that since the company's reaching 10 years and long since reached it's peak in popularity XxXxX

Ahaha that's okay! xD They really are rather great! It's always sad when a series gets old and not as popular... though I think there are plently of good Umineko and Higurashi cosplayers on this site.

Umineko isnt nearly as popular as higurashi either which is a shame ;__; Even though the character design in Umineko is undoubtedly better and more exquisitely detailed than any other anime ive seen Brilliant for cosplayers ^^ X

I personally liked Higurashi's plot more, but the outfits from Umineko are waaay more interesting.

Exactly. Higurashi becomes so more interesting once you actually understand the plots rather than having just read them. like im reading the visual novels a second time around- have all the manga- reading through for the 4th time, watched the anime through 3 times completely. (But then its my autistic obsession above everything else in the world, so im a little TOO obsessive over higurashi in particular )

I think Higurashi starts coming together properly around the Matsuribayahshi hen. It's probably my favourite hen too. Why is Takanos background so sad ;__; it just makes me want to love her and cddle her. The manga goes itno so much more detail than the anime- it was almost skipped over in the anime but its 14 chapters in the manga Plus we get to see the details of the establishment of Takanos team and her past. the anime doesnt go into ANY of that detail- and its the most important hen in the sense of linking each year/characters plots together I think! X

That's true! The first few arcs are entertaining, but it's really neat the way everything fits together. I actually don't think I've finished the manga... My friend has most of the volumes, which I keep meaning to borrow, but I still haven't. I read the beginning online, but I don't think I got to any of the answer arcs. xD Do not worry about being obsessive! I must have watched Code Geass like four times, some things are just that good. :]

I remember how great it was when everything started to make perfect sense... I love nothing if not a fabulous plot. ^^ I'm not sure I have a favorite, though I do love Meakashi-hen. ...the answer arcs are all pretty great. I'll really have to read Matsuribayashi-hen though-- I totally missed all those details. xD

About Takano and her past? It's my favourite I Was readingit today My first day at college and i spent the lunch drawing my oyashiro contest entry and reading matsuribayashi on my phone xD Im so antisocial But I enjoyed it more than any people Im not too keen on making new friends because of the whole aspergers/autism thing- but also my friends from high school were all into manga/anime/glorious memes and internet culture. and we all had problems too so we had a really wonderfully tight bond. we didnt need the rest of the school. We had a genuine friendship that i will never have anything to compare to it Screw new friends! X

Ahaha, it was my first day of school today as well and I pretty much just sat with my friends as well... I'm not too social either. I hope you and your friends are still able to keep in contact. :]
