Funny. Back in the mid 90's, when I was a tattooist, the owner of the shop I worked for shared my 1st name, Russ. To avoid confusion I had to go by a different name. I chose "Weezy" because I was a big fan of The Jefferson's. That name didn't stick but everyone started calling me "Old Scratch" because I had a tendency to be grumpy and hateful. Of course, being from the South, it quickly morphed into "Ol' Skratch."
Of course, "Scratch," or "Scratcher," isn't something you want to be referred to as in the tattoo industry...but I embraced it.

I'm well, just need a break from social media...well facebook, at least. The majority of my connections were becoming a little too political, preachy, and downright un-fun. Figured it's a good time for a break. What's more, I've gotten a metric shit-ton of stuff accomplished since my hiatus.

doing good i suppose, busy on my thesis film, finally got the animatic done last Friday. Gonna show it around a bit before I go into final production, get some pointers and such.
Also, I got yet another hand puppet, haha. I really wanna make one myself, especially cause I find myself drawing Kermit on a daily basis...
