Isn't there like... 5 gems total on earth? And I don't think Godzilla would care about Steven's way of helping threats. The big G is the type to vaporize first and not bother asking questions later.

well , i have a good plot for the story : some aliens invade the earth with their monster king ghidorah after invading a gem controlled planet , and when the crystal gems are unable to stop ghidorah , they resort to freeing godzilla from ice and luring him in to battle with ghidorah , but things take a turn for the worst when godzilla begins terrorizing the earth in ghidorah and the aliens' place

(by the way , king ghidorah has his own origin story here too)
