Thank you for your comments on my wires. I call them wind dancers. I make them at markets and sell them for $20 when I can. It is very nice to get the price of a meal for your artwork, makes it very tasty.
Your work is very VERY strong. Perhaps you don't think much of your own work, but you should because it is conceptually brave. You are not afraid to attempt subjects that are in advance of your drawing skills and that takes a heap of guts.
What you really need to do is to get away from the standard graphite pencils. They polish the paper, don't give you enough shadow depth and are too easy to smudge. You need a true black pencil like a Staedtler Mars Lumograph EB, EE or B7. They are no more expensive than ordinary pencils.

no, on the contrary, im very flattered you even noticed me among all these other competing artists. i think your wind dancers are very inspirational, and worth far more than $20, but i understand how hard it must be for anyone to sell their artwork, knowing its worth so much more to the artist. i just recently got some new pencils, nice ones, from the love of my life who shared your sentiments about my standard bic mechanical pencils. i do have alot of questions that im often too proud to ask, but youve made me feel very comfortable, and i will more than likely take you up on your offer. thank you so much for your comment. youve made my day.
