Pissed off. Some little fucker shot my passenger side windows with a bbgun pellet today when i was coming home from cosmetology school and busted it. I drove around to look for the little bastard for about an hour and then i gave up and decided id pay an assload of money to get it fixed myself. Mrow.

By the way, i know how it feels to be violated like that. My parents did almost the exact same thing to me, i have a journal (not like a normal journal, it's actually a collection of short stories i write) and they went through that one day and then looked through my laptop and found MY novel (now an abandoned peice, not because of them though). Although my writing is a little more tame aside from the incredibly detailed and descriptive gore and liberally applied cursing, so i didn't get quite the same reaction but that's not to say i wasn't pissed. Those things were for my eyes only until i either got them published or finished them. I know how it feels, but don't worry it happens to about every writer at one point or another.

She's a very good friend of mine, my co-producer, and an awesome artist. We met at school at the beginning of this year and we just became really good friends, she's so cool. I really like her as more than just a friend but her last boyfriend was a senior that was like 6 feet tall (she's 15, i'm 16) and i'm just not sure i can really "compete" with that. I don't know but i hope there's something there.

you have like so many things to be proud of in my eyes though, but I know it doesnt really matter what I think, it's what your parents think. But I'm sure they are proud of you erin, maybe they just don't know how to show it.
I've realized that when it comes to people that take from you more than they give back, I'm just gonna take the good things and let the rest just flow by me. And I'm still learning that that is OK.

Right, so my dad let me know yesterday that while I was visiting for easter he trifled through my personal journal, and looked thru the files on my laptop while i was asleep because it was just "sitting out". For your information, the journal was closed, as was the laptop. The contents of my journal include notes to myself on thoughts, memories, things i write when im down or angry, and personal things i like to write down. im talking very very very personal. he calls me and tells me he's dissapointed in me, and to erase my hard drive because he doesn't like the current novel project ive been working on. well he didn't have to fucking read it in the first place. when someone has something closed that generally means stay out of it. if you go to someone's home and see a closed door, its not usually an open invite to pop right in. i felt betrayed, disrespected, naked and violated. i cried until it was numb and i could no longer feel those wet hot tears streaming down my face. doesn't seem like a big deal right? to me it is, its a really big deal. too big. i've struggled to give my parents something to be proud of for too long. my writing was the only thing that they really praised me for and now even that pisses them off. good thing i moved out, i dunno how much longer i could have taken it for.

So here I am, a fresh member to the site. A friend of mine i met on a message board sent me a link to her page on here the other day and i decided "damn, an online art community, finally a place online i fit into." a lot of the pictures and whatnot on here baffled me, so i just had to register. I made a cd earlier today, mostly with songs by the murmurs on it. they're a great band. I believe you can tell exactly what kind of a person someone is just by knowing the kind of music they listen to. of course you can, those who listen to nothing but whats on mtv and topping the charts are obviously mindless zombies that are fed by the fake images of celebrities.
