I just wanted to say that your poetry and prose is absolutely astounding. It reminds me of a cross between the poems in Cohen's "Book of Longing" and Plath and Sexton

Thanks for the 's--and I find your writing AMAZING. If I didn't have school tomorrow, I'd definitely be up until 2 am reading and commenting. As it is, the few pieces I've read make me want to stay up later and try and write something somewhere bordering along the lines of maybe trying to be the same kind of almost awesome. XD

No, thank you, for all the high praise! And thanks for letting me know how much you appreciate my writing - it's my greatest pleasure to hear someone tell me they enjoyed it or could relate to it.

If you liked my style (especially the later stuff - please, the earlier things are kind of crap, don't go hunting for those *wince*) may I recommend =livingcomforteagle and ~ShortAxel to you? The former is one of my very good friends, and a lot of my writing voice and a lot of my stylistic conventions are derivative of hers. The latter is lovely, especially if you enjoy surreal and abstract messages wrapped around a core of hard-hitting emotion. =ottersandsky also writes in the same vein - a lot more emphasis on the imagery than the surrealism, though. Some of my very favorite of theirs: the nature of words , i hope i find you flying kites , saddest kind of pain , fluctuat nec mergitur. If you don't mind me shoving stuff down your throat, that is.

Actually, I don't mind, because you're shoving someone else's stuff, not your own. (Sorry, but I am endlessly irritated by those people who pester/annoyingly advertise their own stuff. I don't think I mind if they're civilized about it. XD ) And I did read all four of those pieces--gosh. They were incredible. They took my breath away and showed me why I will never be a quality writer and thank you so much for the links. (:
