I like your photo's. I looked at them all. (I don't do that very often) They all have good and most have great composition and editing that the pro's have. Along with those skills and technique, what I like the most is they aren't all "epic" shots (Don't get me wrong you have those too) What I mean is I got the sense that your just out taking shots that catch your eye while doing things you enjoy. Maybe I could see the fun you had making them, which is missing form people that just go bang out another sunset or what ever they're doing.

i liked the work. i'm hoping to get some better strobes here in the near future, pretty much anything will be better than my current 160 w/s setup... ho hum, it only takes money right...

Personally, I hate strobes. Too much light for me. Each type of lighting has an advantage and disadvantage. I prefer hot lamps myself.
The disadvantage of using a 160w setup is that you have to shoot at a higher ISO and longer exposures to capture a clear image. BUT, it gives you awesome shadows that create a 3 dimensional image.
A higher dollar amount of the equipment contributes significantly to the quality of an image, but adds nothing to the creativity of the photographer. VISION comes from the soul of a person, not the equipment.
The excitement of new toys pushes you to try new things though.
Bottom line.... Have fun with what you have.
