Just wondering.
I've made a coloring tutorial about how to draw like in my Pikachu draw ("PreciousWater").
I saw in one of your comment that you want to improve.

See the last Pikachu. Here, there is the minimum you can do!
At the same time, take a look at the sun and at the direction of the purple darts. This can help for you ^v^
Now, just imagine the PokΓ©mon in a real situation if it was near youβ¦
So here ya go for the sucky tutorial analysis:
First, letβs begin by the head: you see that the sun is at the left of Pikachu head (here in the draw itβs the rightβ¦ ). So, at the left, do some lightning here! At the opposite (the rightβ¦ ) do some shading, because here, the sun is hidden. Letβs continue the shading and lightning to the right ear too!
The left ear (right in the draw!): is hidden by Pikaβs head, so you can see what Iβve done. BUT donβt forget the sun! See the progression of the shading here!
The body: The sun is always facing Pikachu! So, do some shading behind him, because the head hide the sun!
The legs: (Pika's left) is hidden a little by Pikaβs head. (The rights) The first isnβt under Pikaβs head, so just do shading below the leg. Now the second leg is hidden by Pikaβs first leg and his thigh.
The tail: the same that the right ear!
Itβs the simple and minimum here. I always do that with my draws. But maybe Iβve wrong .___.β Iβm not a professional drawer too, just a simple nOoB addicted drawer who loves drawing for fun! *^-^*
