# About me
We're an art circle that is full steam ahead on its first professional production of ミツマタ or Mitsumata(c), a game that will hopefully take all of our favorite parts of interactive novels, point-and-click adventures, and RPGs, and throw them into the best game ever.ミツマタ, which means "three-forked", is a dark horror fantasy interactive/mixed media game that throws you into the lustrous story of several very different people on two sides of the social coin. On the one hand, you have Humans, the highly intelligent, quick-evolving masters of their world, and on the other, a race called Majin, a language-capable race of humanoids and semi-humanoids who, though stronger than humans, are forced to hide themselves and blend in so that they may have the most basic of peace in their lives.
ミツマタ will run on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
Gameplay includes:
-Searchable locations. Click on screens and find all sorts of fun hidden items!
-Riddles and word puzzles! These are exactly how they sound, and they'll be game related. :)
-In game mini-quizzes! Watch your in-game journal! Passing the quizzes means items and unlockables!
-Training by completing mini-games. The higher your score, the more training you receive! Includes a platformer!
-Planting. Yes. You can plant demonic seeds and grow all sorts of monstrous looking things...
-Rewards you receive the longer you play. No more playing the same exact scenes over and over before you figure out the way to go. Finishing ANY ending will give you bonus scenes in your next game!
-IT IS OFFICIAL. The game will contain RPG-style turn-based battles. Battle systems are a funny thing, but they are possible, and they'll be here. :)
We encourage feedback and will hopefully be posting several polls about what the fans would like to see in the game. :)

Nope! We mostly raised money to do our own projects by doing art for other people, and we had one really large art contract that paid for the vast majority of this game. But we're all in school right now, so things we don't have as much free time to work on Mitsumata as we used to, but over the summer we should come out with more things.

How much would you charge for still image pixel art for 32x32, and a 4 frame animation that is 32x32? I need to see how much I have to save up to hire a pixel artist, and I'm looking right at ya.

Voice acting increases the size of the game dramatically and the art takes up a face space for the size of the game, and it also would mean more programming time. We'll consider it, but we'll probably need at least one more programmer just to handle the voice acting programming.

From my experience, voice acting really helps boost the feeling of playing a VN.

We certainly understand that much and agree, but as far as the time it takes to do that work, it's something we have to think about. On top of having to search for appropriate voice actors.
