I have been watching Star Trek for over 25 years.
My favourite series is The Original Star Trek as I feel there is just something magical about it.
My least favourite series is Deep Space 9 even though it does contain the best action scenes in Star Trek.
My favourite Captains are James Tiberius Kirk and the beautiful Kathryn Janeway.
My favourite villains are The Borg. The can never be beaten.
My favourite movies are First Contact and The Undiscovered Country.
My least favourite movies are Insurrection and Nemesis. Nemesis was an absolute joke of a movie.
I have NEVER watched the prequel movies and I never will. I my opinion it is sacrilege to replace Shatner and co with this bunch of nobodies and according to my mum who has seen them it looks as though they have thrown all continuity that was established in The Original Series out the window.

I agree with everythingΒ you wrote, apart from the sacrilege part because I think the new films cast a different light on Star TrekΒ and bit about DS9 having the best action bits, I hate it!, butΒ they are defiantly aren't as good as Voyager! ByΒ the way my sister just read this over my shoulder she too thinks its sacrilege to watch the new films, and we both envy you with all those autographs from the Star TrekΒ actors, especially the voyager ones! Please tell me one action scene in Voyager that beats the space battles in DS9?
Sacrifice Of Angels is the greatest episode of Trek ever written. Also tell me what episode of Voyager beats What you Leave Behind, Way Of The Warrior and the two battles of Chintoka (especially the one where The Defiant gets destroyed).
The only decent space battles in Voyager were in Scorpion Part 2 and Endgame.
So if you are not into action what kind of Trek episodes do you like?

You've already said the best battles thought I think end game was a bit boring and could have been improved with a bit more of a fight from the Borg as they, in my view were not trying very hard. Other than that the battles were okay. My favroite kind of Star Trek episode is any one with the Borg, no matter how long they are featured!Β

I don't think it was possible for the Borg to put up more of a fight since VoyagerΒ had those Transphasic torpedoes that can obliterate a Borg cube, ablative armour and they also had that pathogen that cut the Borg Queen off from the hive mind and issuing orders.

True, andΒ I have now run out of arguments!! But for me Voyager has still got the best sections of action than any other Star Trek! Β

I still fail to understand how you can say Voyager had better space battles than The Battle Of Bajor (operation Retrieve) or the two Battles Of Chintoka and the one in Way Of The Warriofr or The Romulan/Cardassian battle against the Dominion.
Voyager's battles were on a par with TNG's in being very mediocre.
Enterprise had far superiour battles to Voyager. The battle of Azati Prime, the fight in Twilight , the one that destroyed the Xindi Sphere and the battle inΒ In A Mirror Darkly were better than anything Voyager had.
Did you know that for years The Battle Of Bajor was the biggest space battle in Sci-Fi. It has been beaten now but I am not sure by what.

I have got to ask, Just how much Star Trek have you seen?
The Battle Of Bajor, The Battes Of Chintoka and The Cardasian/Romulan offensive against the Dominion are from Deep Space Nine.
The battle of Azati Prime and the others I mentioned are from Star Trek: Enterprise. That is the prequel series starring Scott Bakula as Captain Jonathan Archer. If you haven't seen it watch it t is pretty good.

I have watched most of (apart from maybe 2 episodes) of voyager, 3/4 of the original series, some TNG, about half of the Enterprise with captain Archer which was actual the first Star Trek I ever watched and I am now re watching n channel eleven (pick TV) every week day night at seven! I have also watched 2 or 3 DS9 episodes and I have only liked trials and tribulations a bonus feature on the original series DVD'S. I have also watched most of the TNG related films but I love first contact the most. I have only watched Search for Spock in the original series films and have watched the 2009 star trek and intend to watch Star Trek into darkness!
