No problem- it was quite clever.

Thanks for the watch! I really like your style, it's very angular! Definitely going to watch for your stuff in the future

Thanks for faving the orchestra! Probably the most complicated and lengthy project I've ever embarked on.

Completely agree with you there! If not for the art, then for the knowledge and skill gained. Not to mention all the cool music!

Most definitely. You know, it's kind of funny- I found you through your maps (*brohoof*) which I've been using as a rough guide for a game I'm creating. And, upon doing that, also found my favorite pieces of artwork involving the musical orchestra...ever. As in, I would hang it in my room. If I had money for a print.
...this is going on my list of things to do this month.

...Seriously?! The idea that someone would be willing to pay money for a physical copy is sort of... mind-boggling to say the least! Stang... I could vaguely understand the map thingy getting a print request what with fandoms in general being overactively willing to spend money on fandom specific art (although there's no way I'd let anyone buy one until I'm happy with it), but one of my actual creative pieces?! You've just given me a massive esteem boost with regards to my sketching skills. :hug!: Now if only programming for work/school didn't take up so much time... I'm feeling a strong desire to finish that other project I've been putting off since last winter break. Or to at least create *something* new. But for now I guess it's back to getting VPAW out of alpha... Again, thank you! If you really do want to buy a print, just let me know and I'll finally actually take the time to figure out the horrible legalese surrounding the process.

I'm glad my praise could add to inspiration, but really, the praise is completely deserved. And yeah, you know them fandoms.
Really though, I've been looking for some art for my practice room for a while but haven't found anything- I'm a classical musician (viola, actually, hence my pleasure at finding your subtle difference between the violins and violas). But, yes- if you put it up for a print, I will buy it. Happily.
Oh, also, I'm totally going to watch you now.

Huzzah! Another watch! If I get just a few more I'll have enough gears to finish my mechanical mech suit for mice! The world's first superhero: Iron Mouse.
But being serious now, my apologies for taking so long to get back to you. Crazy finals, final projects, and all that. Got so bad I spent three days straight here at the university at one point. But now it's all done, and I can concentrate on creative stuff involving ponies finally! Well, that and computer vision related work stuff, but that's beside the point.
In any case, the print is up and running. DA has a slightly crazy system though... Dozens of possible print sizes and aspect ratios, yet none that come quite close to the original size without going way out of ratio. Here's hoping that the printers don't accidentally remove lines... On top of that, they have a standard option available where you can turn your art into postcards, calendars, and coffee mugs if you felt like it. Coffee mugs! Oh, and mousepads. Absolutely nuts... I did decide to keep the puzzle option though. If someone is looking for a challenge, they now have hundred or so pieces of practically identical images of grey and black squares mixed in with the main orchestra to work with. Vaguely tempted to get the puzzle myself now...
Also, not sure why I didn't have your account watched before! Those are some epic abstract pieces! Anything that looks like it would be the most amazing thing in the world to explore and climb all over if it was real is a keeper in my book. Fender Bender in particular just sparks a sense of pure wonderment, as if the pieces of the world are just slowly flying away into the sky. Gorgeous.
By the way, do you have any of your performances on the net somewhere? I'm always on the lookout for music and performers I haven't heard before, and I just realized I probably have very few songs featuring violas.

My apologies for taking so long to get back to you now! Holidays were crazy (I hope yours were pleasant). I don't think I would do very well on a puzzle such as that, though that sounds totally awesome. I will be making arrangements so I can buy that print though...have to figure out PayPal or what ever tomfoolery is required to buy things on dA. Thank you so much for the compliments on my doodles!
I do have a few performances, but not on the web...however, if you'd like a stellar viola piece, I know a very beautiful one called Intermezzo by Nino Rota (same man who wrote the Godfather score). Can't find my fave recording, but here's a link to the piece ([link] ). I'm much more fond of orchestral pieces than solo works, personally. Gotta love all the variety! (Other than that...let's just say, there isn't a whole lot of solo works for viola in the world, haha.)
And finally! Partly, I was gone because of this crazy project I got myself into a while ago, in which I was using your map for reference. The first draft is done, I'm going to spend some time cleaning it up before putting it up here/possible submitting it to Equestria Daily. I will of course, credit your meticulous research and wonderfully helpful map.

Also, thank you for adding the map to your collection! Here's hoping it helps with your travels through Ponyville. Make sure to keep an eye out for some new additions/edits in the upcoming weeks.

Oh, hello! I'm sorry for faving and running. I adored that backpack though, I'd imagine if it's been featured on Equestria Daily you'll be getting several interested customers. (And if it hasn't been on EQD yet...then it should be.) Thanks much for checking out my page

I don't mind fav + runs though I appreciate the comment. I don't think it's been up on there. I just thought it would be neat to offer for people who have ponysonas to get their own pack.

You should totally submit it, they'd probably put it on their nightly roundup or something...and it's totally neat! And awesome.
