Someone approached me on Tumblr and gave me an email to contact the reposter outside Insta (you may know the reposter as "loyalpit"). The person managing that fan/RP account took them down right away albeit I was kinda off-put how rather...brusque they sounded when they told me they took them down :v
On the other hand, one of their affiliates (a Viridi fan/RP account) reposted that collab I did with Blossom and deliberately cropped the Pit/Viridi part of it :/
Now that one I had to file a report, since I didn't have their contact info. Thankfully it was taken down rather quickly.
It really irked me how they not only reposted my art (let alone a collab I did with someone else), but they even RP'd in the comments -_- )

Ooh nice! I’m glad you were able to get one of the big reposter accounts to take it down. I do know another big reposter account (perdix_pat) has reposted your pit and simon artwork. they seem to be bffs with another famous reposter account too (the_golden_wreath). I’m sure both of them have tumblr accounts since a lot of the art they’ve reposted are from there (besides pixiv).
Ugh, I hate it when reposters feel like they’re entitled to your work. Reminds me of that one person who I had to DMCA twice (wouldn’t be surprised if them and the other “account” where the same person) when they got all snippy with me. :/

Sounds like Instagram takes down art theft much more faster than dA. I usually tell someone to take down my work first (and screencap their profile) because if they don’t and block me, I can use my rarely used personal insta to send a claim.

Speaking of Instagram RPs, my sister brought up how she saw one once (it was someone using a celebrity as a face claim) and stated how awkward it was.

(I've kinda been letting it slide given how I didn't wanna bother making an account just for telling them off, but after I found out from Candy (Doodledstars) that lately they've started cropping out the watermarks when they reposted her art, I felt like it was best I'd have them taken down before they start finding more of my work and do the same -_-;; OOF, looks like I'll have to file a report on that one, too :') I'm just glad that they only stole the one drawing from me lmao
I don't suppose it was the one on dA you run into problems with sometime ago when they kept reposting your Pit/Dark Pit baby angel pic even on their alt accounts? :0c
But yeah, I didn't like how offhand their reply sounded even when I was trying my best to be polite LOL; now that I think of it, I'm not sure if it was them or another Pit RP/fan account, but I remembered how one person tried to let said account know that the original artists didn't like their art being reposted and they were just met with a block :/
I'll give it that much, compared to how dA pretty much glosses over most cases of art theft. Ironically, despite the fast response against art theft, it's a thriving land mine for reposts

Yeeaaahhhh, the RP community is kinda...Not So Good™, I'll just say that much. It even kinda extends to the ones I've seen on dA where they RP characters and their faceclaim used for the profile and RP's are those from actual RL people/celebrities and it's kinda...iffy, to say the least :V

that is really awful. like it's one thing to repost the work and at least keep the watermark, but it's another thing to completely crop it out. i feel really bad for candy because her art gets reposted everywhere. speaking of which, someone reposted one of candy's much older pieces here (Pit and Dark Pit hug ).
same here. i do recall from viewing their instagram story that they seem kinda on the smug side (that's the vibe i get from them). while browsing, i did find another rp account who stole one of your older works (the one with dark pit flipping pit off) called lorddarkpit. what baffles me about this whole thing is that some KI artists i follow on insta are perfectly fine with these accounts reposting their stuff. :/
yup. apparently they have an account on here again after like a year of silence. thankfully i found it, so i'm definitely keeping tabs on their new profile just in case.

i definitely agree. what baffles me is that there are much better platforms for RPing (forums, tumblr, etc.), yet people tend to flock to less RP friendly areas like insta and dA. omg yeah. like i wouldn't find iffy if they would use dress up games and make their own characters on those things, but nope, let's just pretend chris evans is some other dude.

...Holly sHIT the quality is so bad you can easily tell it was stolen dsgkjdf. Sadly dA has a rather shitty way of reporting stolen work (requiring SO much personal information in comparison to Insta's bare minimum -_-;; ) and unfortunately Candy already took down her dA so now these accounts can just roam around scot-free.
I've also looked into lorddarkpit's profile and oh grod there's a LOT of stolen work (I've even seen some from Candy and other Tumblr artists like usato21, homriette and eva-lili, to name a few)
...And they're also somehow of a Dark Pit fan/RP account so why am I not surprised about that? 
Yeah, plus some accounts in Insta have shown to be downright rude :/ (A friend of mine who posts on Insta every now and then puts "Please don't repost" in her captions and one of the comments there was like "Well, I just did soooo..." and what's worse is that they have the gall to lock their posts to be visible only to followers so who knows how much more stuff from other artists they've reposted :/ )
I can get that they want their RP muse to be "realistic"(?) but LOL no I do NOT want to see you RP with a muse who has Michael Jackson as a faceclaim (that account actually exists here, btw 😬💦)

IKR? like i would be baffled if they actually submitted that to any group. like the image itself literally screams jpeg nightmare. they really do. it was one of the major reasons why i had so much anxiety when having to report my work being stolen. like there's nothing more anxiety inducing than having to fill out personal information for an art thief to see. glad to hear that instagram is much less stressful when it comes to filling claims. unfortunately. i do recall coming across a thing on tumblr for those who don't have dA accounts for how they could send claims. they can do it by email i believe. still the same process of giving out too much information though.

probably because a lot of reposters happen to be dark pit fans. kinda makes me want to draw a satirical doodle sometime where dark pit is holding a stop sign and the caption is him being against reposting art. exactly, not to mention it doesn't exempt you from reposting without permission. same with actually knowing who the artist is.
oh yeah. i haven't dealt with a rude one yet, but boy do i get vibes from them. (wow, that's really rude of them. just the fact that they replied with entitlement irks me. and you know accounts like those will not let the artist follow them either. wouldn't be surprised if any of the locked ones had stolen my work. :T)

I decided to go for Dark Pit for this one since, admittedly, I've been drawing him less than Pit (ironic because I slightly favor him a bit more than Pit, whoops) and I personally think that someone like him would use one of those mobility scooters~ (originally I was going to go for like, double leg braces for both legs but I kinda think Dark Pit is the kind who prefers waaay more freedom in moving around and judging by how many times he uses the Lightning Chariot, he loves living fast //shot)
//then again, I haven't been drawing anything KI-related in weeks ever since I recently got fixated on a certain game which I may or may not have been doodling in my spare time after a looong art block lol so this was a nice refresher~ x'D

i can definitely see that. it would make more sense if his disability was much more invisible than pit's (where he can actually walk at times to represent how he stolen pandora's powers at one point for unlimited flight), plus he could always try to run over those who annoy him lol

Kinda like how in Chapter 21, if you hit Dark Pit (regardless of it being intentional or not), he will launch an attack back at you

omg that's one of my favorite moments and honestly it's so in character for him too. like i'm surprised i've never even gotten to drawing around this dumb idea i had, especially since i thought of it back in may. it was pretty much inspired by one of the redundant enemy name in a zelda game (dark darknut) and pit makes a joke about a dark dark pit. let's just say pittoo smacks him for it.
same here. i can imagine it coming back around smash era, but that would just be more likely be a fixation on the characters rather than the series as a whole.
it's fine. i have so many unfinished drawings and ideas it's not even funny. kinda glad though because if they're really old, it gives me an excuse to redraw them when looking for ideas.
it's so fun! i haven't played any of the recent ones but i remember being engrossed with the first three games of the series. i loved playing as daisy during the time because it was pretty cool to see a character who shared the same skin tone as you (back when she was tan).
i would say take all the time you need. i'm sure nintendo would release an improved version of the switch in the near future (longer battery life, more memory), so i would say those who are holding off are smart.

totally, it really suits him. like what also inspired it is how so many people mistake dark pit for shadow pit and knowing pit, he knows that pittoo is nothing like shadow pit or dark link lol

definitely. i love hack and slash games because they are a nice way to relieve stress. it's also a good thing you do adventure mode because that's the smartest way to level up your characters.

Reminds me of when I drew that Smash Bros. comic waaay back last year (before the very first SSBU trailer was revealed) where I used Link's BOTW design, meaning I somehow inadvertently "predicted" BOTW Link's appearance in the new Smash lol
Speaking of Lana, not gonna lie, when I first saw her (prior to HW and without any knowledge that she was an actual videogame character, let alone a Zelda game character), at first I thought she was some special D&D edition Hatsune Miku MMD model or something hfdgkjhshgkj
Then when I looked over at a random HW playthrough I saw her and I was like, "Wait, she's an actual character from the game???" x'D
I'll probably try to redesign Cia at some point, though. Her outfit design gives me Palu vibes and in a Not Good™ way hdskjghdfk (i.e. too many accessories, ridiculously catered to the Horny on Main side of the fandom, etc.) Like, I'm usually fine with fanservice and there actually are times when a sexually appealing character has been done right but...lol
I'm gonna go off and admit that my knowledge of LoZ is ridiculously limited ;; Some of the characters playable (except for the characters that are exclusive to HW alone) I've only seen mentioned a bit, heard of in passing or vaguely remembered |D
But considering HW crosses over various timelines in different Zelda games, I think it's actually a good introduction to people trying to figure out the LoZ verse dghkjdfg

nah, that was very common. my friend called her hatsune miku and meanwhile, i felt that she looked like she came from fire emblem a lot more. i call her hatsune miku as a joke though.
i don't blame you. heck my redesign of lana and cia is my most popular art piece on my art blog. i would say her bad disco outfit is much worse than palu's and i love the fuck out of cia (she's like my bae, but i loathe and i mean, really loathe her fans. she has super bad fanonization and honestly, much worse than pittoo's, not to mention fanon cia is much more misogynist than her design and stuff you can tell i have a lot of feelings on this whoops). it doesn't help that her design is a hyper objectification of brown and black women (as a poc, why nintendo even gives sexual designs their brown and black characters really bothers me). surprisingly enough, her beta design was more zeldaesque and not sexual but apparently nintendo told them to change it. i would say however it is much more mild in comparison to some of the ridiculous fire emblem designs.

ah that's fine. i actually introduced a couple of friends to the loz series through HW surprisingly and they enjoyed it. all the people i know love the hw ocs and make fun the hell out of cia, lana, and linkle's gross dudebro fanbase (let's face it. love the other two as well but they're also unfortunately cater to horny male fantasies too. downsides of any female character really).

Most of the stuff I've seen from her are either cheap waifu fodder or borderline obsession towards Link (which I kinda understand considering what happens in the game but like...ech).
Like don't get me wrong, I like parodies where they show flanderize characters' personalities in a satirical way (i.e. like those posts with Cia obsessing over pictures of Link in a sleepover), but when they think that's all they ever are...ahhh, no :V

yep, pretty much. they're one of the major reasons why i would never make a fan club for lana and cia here. too much butthurt gross dudes would get pissed at me rejecting their dumb work. i had blocked out most of the cheap waifu fodder and stuff manually here. like i remember cia's waifu dudebro fans getting pissed at me because i didn't put up with their shit. one even tried to justify why my opinion about her being flanderized was wrong and even defended the gross young link/cia porn that exists. needless to say, i blocked them.
same here. setzeri is the king of parody when it comes to flanderization. his hw content always gave me a good laugh. but unfortunately most of it isn't parody and just goes to uhh no territory. the majority of cilink content makes me uncomfortable because it's portrayed in force consent where link is uncomfortable.
same here. i make those jokes with him all the time (same with cia jokes that make fun of hw's plot), but when you actually think he's edgy, that's when i'm like yeah no. as much as they're annoying, i would rather deal with people who think dark pit is actually edgy over cia's fans any day.
i'm going to dub dark pit and cia the duo who has very bad fanonization (taking account the unironic edge interpretation and the bad characterization of pittoo being portrayed as an abuser towards pit in pit torture porn garbage).
