yeah, i spend a few hours on each. I was cranking out 1-3 concepts a day, while working my day job. The main rush is over since the book is now in print, now to crank it back up for the next book in the series There are a lot of factions in Dark Nova, and quite a few aliens, i touched on most of them but there are still more i have to do its a challenge but also fun pushing the designs is such varied ways

chaque culture a ses avanyages et inconvenient...
donc j idealise plus les states mais,continue de penser que c'est un bon endroit pour vivre. Les ricains ont une attitude beaucoup plus positive surtout dans le travail. Il me semble que la nouriture en thailande est vraiment pas chere ...que penses tu de la police la bas .. as tu deja eu des problems avec la loi.... je demande ca car il y a tjrs des histoires autour de cas

la police? non aucun probleme tant que t es reglo ils sont cool mais il y a enormement de corruption, grave!
je roule sans permis, sans papiers...hop tu laches 3euros t es tranquile.
la bouffe est pas cher, les loyers,tout!et jolies filles...et pas prise de tete comme en france ,les thai sont tolerantet n entrent jamais en conflict(sauf lors des emeutes lol)
c est un beau pays,petit paradis a vivre.
mais pour le taf c est pas ici que je virvais du graphism, je cherche plus sur l europe et les states. tu bosse en freelance toi! ca marche bien?

Yes the point of those are "blocking and lighting",and I also think it's messy a little bit. I usually don't sketch on computer .This was an attempt. The dynamic in brush tool is set on "Off". That is why it looks like black ink. Most of artist do there sketches more soft with gray scale I think it is better to match that their way...

Ah cool! I usually leave on my brush dynamic for certain brushes, and sometimes I add it to brushes that dont, I feel it gives more line weight variance on the go. But thanks for the tips man!!

you are right, no body really think about deactivating dynamic especially for a sketch.. But I tried this because I had a problem not worth it to describe . Plus this problem is fixed now , so I am planning on working with "dynamic On" like anybody... Dynamic off good for cleaning props,or environment maybe...

Sorry man just figured out there is multiple pages in the "active message" tab...
So...Thank man! Honestly I didn't know they have background artist in the comic book industry. I though the work was done by a draftsman/inker/colorist . I was Thinking the draftsman who handle the characters handle the Bg as well...
I only worked PRO as BGartist and mattepainter I add new stuff now to move into concept artist...

My background for now is Mattpainting/BGpainting only.
It may sounds weird but I do not work as a concept artist , but this is what I am looking for ...I may have to add more creations to be considered or maybe because I don't have professional concept artist background ...it is hard to get a first concept artist job...
