First thing about me when it comes to art, I've been an artist since I was a little girl, took art classes all through grade school, and went to college for art full time.
-Graduated from Anne Arundel Community College (Spring 2010) - Associate of Arts Degree
-Graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art (Summer 2013) - Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Majored in General Fine Arts
My mediums of choice vary among traditional and digital mediums, mostly including graphite, ink, ink wash, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and some charcoal in traditional mediums. As well, I also do digital drawings and paintings using programs such as Photoshop CS6 and Corel Painter 13.
Topics of art for me vary too, and I try to immerse myself in all sorts of subject matter from still life, portraiture and landscapes, to fantasy, concept art, and all sorts of fictional illustrations. Genres can also vary, and I mostly enjoy fictional subjects of horror and/or fantasy.
I will be honest and admit that 3-D art and 3-D digital art/animation are not something I often work with, but if presented with the challenge, I am more than willing to experiment and learn about new mediums in order to better my skills in these areas.

On a side note, I am also an animal lover, a huge Ghost Adventures fan (hence all the GAC fan groups I'm in ^_^) and a major dragon lover. Thanks for visiting my page!!! :D

Hey Steph, I have a question for you about MICA ouo

It's a college, right? Well- I'm thinking about MAYBE considering going there for college, but I wanna know if they have classes for 3-D digitals, like having video-game artists and 3-D graphics, that kind of stuff.

MICA has just about anything art related as a major, including classes specifically for video game and graphic design, animation, programming, etc. Though it is rather expensive for an art college, what you could do is attend a 2 year college to get your core classes out of the way at a cheaper tuition cost, and then transfer to a 4 year college like MICA to focus on what you really want to study in art. That's what I did anyway (although the way the credits work, there are only a few credits that transfer to MICA, mainly your core such as math, science, english, and other non-art related classes which you can take art classes at a community college, but they may or may not transfer if MICA does not think they are good enough. Only a few of my art credits from AACC transferred over, so I still had to take a lot of basic art courses at MICA before getting into the real meat and potatoes lol)
But by all means, whatever it is that you do, definitely check MICA out because you'll be glad you did :D (Big Grin) As an art college, you pretty much live and breathe art. That alone is enough to make any artist realize just how passionate they are (or are not in some cases) about art. I love it, personally :) (Smile) If you end up doing the full 4 years at MICA, you will get the full experience, though I would at least recommend taking AP core classes at high school to see if those will transfer to the college. It's tough, but worth it if you are able to get high AP test scores and that will be less english, science, math, etc that you need to take at MICA. (MICA doesn't exactly focus on subjects like that, so I'm not sure how good those classes are lol which is why I'm glad I took them at AACC)
