Hmmm. Overall it was, in the end, quite enjoyable and more playable for me than the previous games, and I started actually learning the combat mechanics a little towards the end... My left thumb is superrrr sore, and I think my right hand requires some massaging.. 
I dunno. I kinda feel tempted to give 2 and 3 another go, and maybe at least keep 4 for times when I want to bash at things in rage 
In short, not really my kind of game series. *ponder*

I would say give 3 another try (fuck 2), but I am kinda biased, and if they're not your thing then fair enough, I suppose.
As for the rage-bashing, I actually did that with DMC3

Hmm. I'm playing Dragon Age: Origins now... I guess, when I go downtown tomorrow, if it turns out I won't get not even two euros from the games in return, I'll just keep them a bit longer... or just give them away and try get the remake-versions (I think those exist?) later when I'm financially more stable. ^^

I got them over the years - someone recommended the series to me, found it on PS2, and got the next parts before even finishing first.
