I warn you, when checking out my gallery, avoid YAOI folder. It's mostly for crazy anime-fangirls. Everything else is fine. And like I said at the con, most of it is just crap i get out in the open to please fans and stuff I don't care insanely much about.

ahh yes. But if you've sold your soul for fans, what have you got left? And ya might want to put those "tomigotchis" away...don't want any voyeurs poking their eyes out. And they do exist...

i haven't sold my soul. I write because I enjoy writing. ^-^ it's just an unfortunate fact that i too am a crazy anime yaoi fangirl. My readers get really pissed because i take forever to put that stuff out.

I have your outline finished, the downside to this is that my printer decided that if it didn't have ink (Color) then it wasn't going to scan, either. -___-;

that's ok. I'm very thankful for your intent and can pick up the art if that's easier for you. I'll copy it a few times then ink it. If you like the outcome, then maybe you'd like to help with creating a series for an author doing just the outlines whilst I ink. Consider it then ask me questions that come up concerning the offer.

Lol, I may have to re-do it. Mostly for the fact I don't like how the 'donkey' half came out. x.x But pick up, for the time being, would work fine.

good. sorry for the delay, but i was trying o get some more work and possibly get some other artists to help create a comic called pins and needles. I'd still like to do more animal mash-ups, but i'd like to see about actually getting the TMNT group's Xeric foundation to fund a full blown comic if I can get the prelim pencils, inks and boards done. Tell me where is more beneficial for meeting to see the work you've done as well as pay you. At your discretion of course. Maybe during some outing with friends so i don't impede your day. Peace out.

What side of town are you on?
This would be the first step x.x
But impeding on my day is almost impossible, honestly.
I never really do anything during the day anymore. Other than school anyway..
Hastings, a park, the mall, wherever. It depends on distance.

You are an excellent artist! I especially enjoyed looking at your Splice Contest entries. Have you ever thought about coloring more of your work? I bet if your coloring was as good as your drawing and shading you'd win 1st place easy!

AHHHH, grasshoppa! You assume first place is not in my grasp as we speak. Behold, I have the trophy!... well sort of.............ok I made it myself....for myself. Color scares me... it's like a non black & white thing

Garaladin In reply to photosynthesist [2010-05-26 22:01:27 +0000 UTC]

I sorta agree. I almost never color my paper art unless I really want views; but color really does add to a work, that is, if you can do it well. But like I said, your art is amazing. Good job!

I wouldn't trust my coloring skills yet to be of significant consequence to the art community. I'm still a novice.

so you're a bio major... assuming that stands for bio-logy and not bio-metry (I'd prefer one not scan my iris nor any other area for security) which means these notes will sit for days 'til you have a go at dev-art again... I'll say thanx again for time allotted to comment on those pics!

Interesting that you find you didn't "get" most of it...I think you would (gauging from the skill and aptitude battery you convey in your writings) and may be most astounded to learn how the pics are intended to affect the lives of those who are coherent enuff (i.e. not doped up most or all the time)to form thoughts about topics that aren't mainstream (open-mind syndrome is most welcome). Your screen name seems to be a moniker for your inner expression of frustration at what you have already judged to be a convolution of inconsistencies in those who purport truths yet enslave others. If your willing AND curious, let's chat at your convenience. I enjoy the talks with any participant in deep concepts...

YOUR WELCOME...your style resembles my own to a great degree though the content is drastically different. Did you attend school for your technique or are you self-instructed?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lunarsparks In reply to photosynthesist [2010-02-28 02:02:01 +0000 UTC]

I drew and painted from an early age, did the regular art course in school and a year studying different mediums and techniques at University. My style was not honed until after I left but I consider it to be the result of the practice I did for years ever since I picked up the pencil in childhood, plus I taught myself to work digitally. Practice, practice and more practice so I would say I got my technique from self-instruction.
