Yeah, I rather keep to myself on here, as I'm not a particuarly prolific artist. Still, no matter, you've found me now!

I do like your pixel work, however. You should try animation shop 3. it rocks at animating pixel stuffs.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, but I've only just spotted your message. For some reason it didn't pop up in my message inbox.
But anyway, I digress. All of your photography is of a very high standard (at least, to my rather untrained eye!), and some of it is truely excellent. Seeing it makes me want to go pick up a camera and start snapping, more so now than ever before.
Anyway, all the best, and I hope you can keep pushing your work forward. I shall have to keep a look out for you on the Daily Devations page!

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I've been lurking around without an account for quite a while, and have been following your artwork for just as long. Honestly, I can say it's some of the most original digital art I have seen. Please keep doing whatever it is you do so well; your work is refreshing in a usually over-cluttered digital domain.
Hence why the Dev-watch.

why thanks alot. but im never sure what people are talking about when they talk about my art, what is it? the rectangle people? the character designs, the t-shirt designs? the random illustrations?

I think the thing I most like about your work is it's sheer randomness of it; it seems to heed no rhyme or reason, and yet it can be hilariously funny. I think the first piece of yours I saw was THE COLOR TWELVE, which I happend upon while I was surfing around to kill time quite some time ago. It's utter randomness had me grinning all afternoon.
I also like the fact that the majority of your art is just so simple. The use of large areas of flat colour, the angular nature of your art, the characters drawn with very little detail but oh so much expression. I think this works so well, and is just very different (or at least in my limited experience) to what the majority of people do with their art.
Oh, and Ninjas and Chainsaws. They're always good.

thanks alot. but i realy dont like having people tell me how random i am. random to me just sounds like Β«it dosent mean anything and it came from nowhereΒ» there is a meaning to what i do. i do try to express stuff when a little guy gets fucked by a skeletton or talks about another guy who he thinks can transform into a giant robot. its not even always clear to me. but its all based on something.

Bad choice of words on my part, I'm afraid. I've got so used to using the word random to mean 'different' or 'at a tangent' that I pretty much ignore the proper meaning of 'occuring without reason'. For this, I appologise.
To be more accurate, I'd say your art is probably closer to 'inspired' than any other desciption, since it is so unlike anything that I've come across. Clearly your work has meaning, and is filled with emotion, it just your respones is so different to what other people would do when faced with the same situation. To me, this is quite an impressive feat; being able toi think differently, and go against the norm.
By the way, it appears we're doing very similar things with our lives at the moment. I've just ended up at University in the UK, and am studying Computer Science with the intention of going into the Computer Games industry, except that I'll probably end up doing the programming side of it, rather than the graphics. Again, like you, this is exactly what I've always wanted to do, and now I'm actually getting to do it.

thanks alot. this is the kind of comment i never get.
good luck with programing. programers make so much money its insane. more than any body else in the industry.

Really? I thought everyone got paid about the same, or at least that's what I've seen in my experience.
Anyway, I'm not getting into the industry to make money, although it would be a very pleasant benefit if I did get paid well; I want to get into the industry to make games, and for no other reason.
I don't know about you, but my head is full of ideas that I would like to see realised, at least in part, in a game. I know that a lot of them won't actually ever happen, but there's the possiblity to create something entirly new and different. That's what drives me, that's what's got me to this point, on the cusp of actually making it.
