Random: I'm very happy to see that you are still alive. I got extremely worried for awhile about your absence (thanks to my own anxiety) but I'm glad you are posting things when you can and are still doing art when you have time. Your sculptures are amazing!

I feel an overwhelming sense of terror when I seriously contemplate making art, to the point where I would rather talk to a stranger, or make a phone call, than I would try to make art. It makes me feel like crying. Also, my attention span has been crappy lately.Β

Same thing happened to me. Just don't draw until you feel like doing it again is all I can recommend. Forcing it won't help, and will just make you feel terrible.

I am looking at art, and keeping supplies handy for when I get the urge to draw something, at least. I've been getting the urge to work on art here and there, and it is annoying that it is coming up now that I am back in school for the semester and have far less free time.

Technically I have internet, but have been trying to keep it for school and other non-recreation shit only. Deactivated my facebook, too. But I ended up needing to reference crap on here, so I just took all my pictures out of storage. *sigh*

:devfragda: had been talking about throwing paint onto canvas as sort of way to maybe jumpstart the artistic process, and I decided to do it with ink. It's what I do with blood art anyway, usually; apply it to the paper and then find the picture in it (so yeah, I guess very much like a Rorschach test!)... I like the symetrical look of Rorschach tests pictures but don't know how to make one without creasing the paper... I use a watercolor block, anyway, so the paper can't even be lifted until it dries. I will figure out a way to do it eventually.

Put it on one paper and then stick that paper face-down on another paper, and then reverse and repeat?

That would be worth a try... I would have to get less runny ink... it would probably work with a thinner acrylic paint.
