Brilliant work you do here mate! I REALLY love your painting technique; strong and powerful! I'm really impressed! You have me so hooked on Jacques Brel 'Ne me quitte pas'. listened to it about 30 times since the other day...so amazing as I said. Listened to some other of his music, wish I found him before. I was planning on posting a comment on your page but it slipped my mind I guess. You have a lovely gallery. Is the project thing something you came up with on your own, or do you study art in a school? Your 'Gender Androgyny Project 2012' offers a very interesting look in your thoughts. Also your feeling for color choice and placement and composition is quite mature in my opinion :) (Smile)

No worries! Thank you so much! I'm currently studying for my fine art degree, and the project folders are work from this. Although the ones I have uploaded are self-directed, so we have an open brief where we chose what topic we want to explore, I just chose what interests me I'm really glad you responded to that project, its my proudest work. Your kind feedback means a lot to me, especially from an artist of your talent, I am really impressed with your work. Very expressive and demonstrating a high level of skill... keep up the good work =) (Smile)

I see, some degree of freedom is essential to create something, although total freedom mostly ruins it ... what a balance :) (Smile) You should be proud of that work, impressive how you manage to display one visual style throughout the series. That is something most artist need years and years of practice for (including me :p (Lick) )

I guess my color use is somehow a reaction to the many soft colored, pastel-like paintings I see everywhere nowadays. I like to use a range going from black to white, with everything in between :) (Smile)
