I'd like to celebrate sometimes, but my 18 birthday (which is an important age in Finland 'cause you're officially "adult", it's like when some other people in other countries have Sweet 16, we have the same at 18) was so messed up and I cried almost all day because of certain people, I decided to never have a birthday again. I just don't want it to happen again and I just feel like not making a fuss about me getting older xD
Nom nom, foooooood~ I just had pile of waffles today. Again... I bought my own waffle iron to make gluten-free waffles myself and I'm so happy I have it xD It was only 10 euros from fleamarket and it was totally un-used! (Is that even a word lol...?)

For me, I kinda just enjoy getting good food and that's really it. I don't like doing too much on my birthday either. Too much of a hassle and I enjoy just relaxing.Β

Yeah, hassle is something I don't liek either. I enjoy doing something panned with friends in general... but my friends live far away and they don't know each other so we can't gather a group... And if I'm willing to other meet people out, they'll be all drunk... I hate drunk people...

Oh? I like chocolates but I also like all kinds of candies. Red ones are good, but I also like blue and green. Purples are also good too. I pretty much like candies of different colors. I like to mix things up. XDΒ
Ohhh I see, that's always a problem. The US is so big and people tend to move away for college or for jobs so it's hard to really meet up with anyone. Especially if you work. Then it's a matter of matching up schedules and not being too tired to meet with people. I haven't been around drunk people a lot so I can't tell if I hate drunk people or not. Never dealt with one yet.Β

I am a picky eater. I eat lots of things, but they have to be made certain way, or certain colour... well, I'm complicated lol. But Greens and other coloured candies to me are like: "I need my sugar! But there's nothing else than these............................ Oh well, give me one." Then I nom it with sour face xD
Yes, I can imagine that. Hell, Finland is a flys shit, if even that big, but still it takes time sometimes to see my friends because of their work and distances and such. Comparing to you, I have nothing to complain...
But still. Someday I'm gonna be there! And I'll be lurking behind your door and when you see me, I will stare at you with my crazy eyes like: "Gimme some teeeeeea~ With honey, please."
I have dealt with them too much and that's why I choose not to if I don't really HAVE to. For example next month my cousin gets married and I can tell you; Finnish people + party = an excuse to get drunk as hell then --> some people start a fight and ruin the party. That's how it always goes here. Yay... I think I'm gonna enjoy the ceremony, visit the party and get the hell out of there before people have finished the punch xD

Ohhh I see. I can pretty much eat anything but I do have preferences. Like I don't really like steamed carrots. I like them when they are nice and crunchy. I don't really like them when they're all soft and mushy. For candies, I pretty much like any flavor. Not really sure if there is one I don't like. I'm not sure which flavors I like the most. I kinda just like any of them. I do tend to like red, green, and purple though.Β
Ahahaha true. The US is such a big place. Even when I live in the same state, I still don't really go and travel to meet a lot of people. I just like to stay indoors a lot I guess.Β

Yeah, I can imagine... I mean I have a map, I see how big it is and all I can think of is the struggle with traveling... And yes, the schedules don't always match, which makes it more difficult. But I'm still aiming to meet you one day!
Oh speaking of which! I had this dream couple months ago! I decided to leave Finland for a while and I just traveled there with my suitcase, all over the country with trains, busses, by walking. And I was on this strange train that moved slowly and the doors where open. But it was still a train, not a tram. It was so dark and we headed in this scary area late at night and I was looking outside. Then I saw this big building with rooms for students to live and from the window I saw you studying in peace at your table. I was like "Is that Jieun?!? It can't be!!" I hopped off from the train in the middle of tracks and rushed back with my heavy suitcase. I knocked your window and you looked really scared that some stranger was behind your window all of a sudden. You opened it a bit and asked "Yes?" I said: "Hi muru! Cookie crumb? It's me, Eerika!" You were unsure at first, but since I knew your nickname your face brightened and you let me in and we hugged and talked. I asked if we could do something together soon? You said you were off to a concert that lasted a week and during that I would already be back in Finland. But you already paid for the tickets so of course you would go there. We were so sad, but I said that at least I got to see you and it was nice (: But I started crying a bit since I felt sad our meeting was so short, but held my pieces together and promised that next time I come here, I will warn you before hand xD It was just a coincidence that I saw you from your window. After I left, I had to walk on the train track to the next station where I was nearly robbed....
So yeah, a weird dream xD But still, I loved your face when you realized it was me. You were so confused at first.
Yeah, me too. But my family is crazy and really selfish and alcoholic... I've tried to get along with them, but it is just impossible and everything always end into tears. So I decided I wont go. I wont be seeing any of them. I finally realized it's for the best. Besides, they propably will be so drunk that they wont even realize I'm not there xD
Yay! I just gotta pick few more things and I'll be ready, 'cause I wanna carefully choise all the good stuff. Hope you like them of at least some of them ^^

Ahhh well I mean if you have dietary restrictions then it makes sense. I'm not sure if I'd call it picky, if you just can't eat certain things. You are simply just looking out for yourself and trying to not get yourself sick is all.

I can instantly go from 'Meh' to 'OMG A FRIEND. HELLO FRIEND! IT IS I, YOUR FRIEND!' in a matter of seconds. I'm like a dog in that sense.
As long as I recognize and remember you, I'll probably be super excited to see you. lol Awwww... that would be really sad if our meeting was that short. I don't really go to concerts because I don't like how crowded things get so that wouldn't be a problem in reality. lololol

I actually missed the wedding and I couldn't be more happy. My mind is recovering fast and I believe one reason is because I haven't seen my parents in a year. And I plan not to see them ever again. I'll visit my cousin and his wife some other time with a suprise cake ^^

Ohhhh yeah yeah? Blueberries and raspberries are nice. Sometimes the raspberries have that odd texture to them. Blueberries are really nice when baked into bread so I like them. I don't think i've ever got into the woods to pick for them though. That's an interesting thought.Β

Ah, yeah, it has been nice here so far, but last week it has only been raining. Though I hate sun and heat, so I'm fine with it, but I don't feel like swimming too much when it's raining. I like to swim up to 3 hours, but now I have been more walking and jogging, 20-30 km, I feel like getting good feeling and energy out of training.
To be honest I do have a problem though... money. I have SO much bills and so little money, but oh well, I still try to find a part time job and fortunately we have breadlines here in Finland.
But otherwise I'm.... well, I get through day by day (: I'm gladΒ Ihave friends like you. Otherwise I would feel empty.

Yes, it has been succesfull! For past few weeks I've been productive (hope it's the right word I'm using...) and been exercising (which makes me happy) and I haven't been sad even once. It makes me feel hopeful for the future and happy at the moment (: So far I'm fine. I hope you've been fine too? I miss you so much... I'm sorry we hardly talk anymore. I shoud use more Skype and scratch your ass once in a while.
