Not on here much eh? Losing interest? I think dA's a great place, but a lot of people are abandoning it for Tumblr. Personally I can't stand Tumblr. I'd rather be able to look at a person's gallery and favorites and know what's there's, and be able to search it, but Tumblr just mixes stuff together.

i like tumblr because i am told about updates easily, it covers important topics and funny ones, and i can customize my page much easier
and nothing costs moneyΒ

Yeah, each site definitely has its own style. I can see the appeal of Tumblr, but I just don't care for it. It definitely gets to the point quickly though, and people spread things around very quickly. Lots and lots of "reblogged from" on there. That's probably one of the features so many people like about it, but it's also one of the things that really turns me off the site.

this site has changed a lot, and it can be hard to upload (for me)... and sometimes there are no new updates for a long time.
on tumblr, the site is very fast and you can lose things easily, idk

Tumblr just looks like a mess to me. I get that it allows people to share and pass things on very quickly, but I much prefer seeing what each person made themselves and their favorites, and dA is much better organized around that. Tumblr is good for spreading things around quickly and I can see why people like it, but for what I look for in a site, it's useless to me.
I think most of the changes to dA have been good ones. As a Beta Tester (and becoming one is easy; if you're a premium member, you just hit "sign up for beta tester" and you immediately become one), I see some of the new features early that look like they'll make the site a bit more convenient to use. One upcoming feature is the ability to see what people tagged their pictures with.
