First off, thanks so much, I'm happy you liked the tutorial.
Lol, I too have run into this problem, and even though girl base bodies are more prevelant, there are some places that will help.
[link] has a variety of male bases
along with [link] [link] and [link] , but they are mostly the "guy" version of a girl pixel base; but none the less, still good.
However, for more original male figures in new poses, try

and the even more hard core
[link] (warning, this is mostly yaoi poses, as in male on male figures).
As for changing girl bases into guys, there are two things I'd have to say. #1, if you aren't experianced in making doll bases changing the anatomy of one might drive you nuts. xD (But if you do make sure it is okay with the rules of the base owner to do so). Also, it depends on the base but the "girlish hourglass figure" would not look good for a male base.
But, there are good tutorials around for making bases, so if none of the above sites seem to help, you can try to make your own!
