If an outsider male were to visit Rireinu for a year on that planet, what would the experience be like for him?

That's an intriguing question.
Deathly dull, probably. First of all, he would have to bring a chaperone with him. And then he would be provided with a government guide/interpreter to keep him out of trouble. (The official reason for the guide is that nobody on Rireinu speaks any galactic languages. Which is actually true. And female visitors get such guides too. You just can't be too careful with those galactics.)
Then too, the Rireinukave are rather xenophobic. And he would fairly obviously be a galactic, with his unusual body hair patterns and nonstandard genitals. He would likely be an object more of grudging tolerance than friendly curiosity. Except possibly in the xenoanthropology community, who after all study the galactics. And even they would be likely to be condescending to him much of the time.
That said, there is of course all the history, the culture, the natural wonders, the food. The usual tourist things. If you can get past the hostile stares and everybody talking to your chaperone instead of you all the time.

Thanks for the recent Watch and Favourite! Β There should be some more Dayah Forest images coming up in the new year, so please feel free to offer comments, critique and so on.
In the meantime, I took a stroll around your gallery and Faves, and really enjoyed what I found there. Β You've clearly put a lot of work into your own setting, and it shows in the quality. Β I'll be interested to read more!
I also noticed that you seem to have an interest in linguistics. Β If you're interested, I'm (slowly) putting together a language for the setting whose characters you Faved, which can be found at the end of this document:Β About the Dayah Β . Β I would love to hear your input on it, if you feel so inclined.
