Maybe you should try choosing colors that are more different (darker, vivid) than base one, to make some kind of contrast that is easy to be seen. That way it will look less like a gradient.. aadsbsjda I'm horrible at explaining things/ slaps
But it is great, and you should continue making pixel artsu, you make it so adorable * ^ *
