At the moment they are few and far between
You like my work enough to add a piece to your favourites. It's something that I believe should never be taken lightly. There's a lot of stuff out there and more coming every day. But you chose mine. It seems rude not to extend a small courtesy in return.
If the number of people liking my work picks up I shall keep doing it for as long as I can spare the time.

That is a noble resolve, although I would understand a certain ... unwillingness to reciprocate in this regard. It's a simple button to press and I have a feeling not everyone are quite so frugal in its use. So it could be a very meaningful act, and it could also be forgotten the next minute.
I often find myself at a loss of words or in doubt of the legitimacy of my thoughts, and then it is closer at hand for me to silently appreciate in that way than to submit a meaningless comment such as βI like itβ which helps neither of us and which anybody could have said about anything. In your case I was deterred by your air of professionality and prolific output.
