# About me

Photography is a hobby of mine; I'm still learning the basics, but I hope to improve my skills through practice. I prefer not to do any editing in post-production (meaning I don't use actions, I don't mess with the saturation or contrast, or use Photoshop really at all except to crop). I also don't have any fancy equipment; I don't even have a lens other than the kit lens (18-55 mm). By not going above and beyond, I hope to keep to "raw" photography, but I have a deep admiration for those who can successfully manipulate (and even, in some ways, improve) a photograph in post-production.
My photography tracks my journeys across my neighborhood, the United States, and the globe. I love to travel and photograph my experiences in the new (and familiar) places I visit.
For those who care, I use a T1i Canon.

My pleasure! I like the simplicity of it- and the colors. Hope you're good too. And I'm glad someone agrees with me. It seems that people are becoming increasingly fond of the Photoshop filters, which is fine and a talent within itself, but I still prefer doing "raw" photography.
