Quite well, thank you. Although I have to somehow find time for both university and work... Nevertheless I manage to spend some time with friends and girlfriend. Therefore I'm a happy guy Despite the fact that (due to working) I will have to repeat this semester at the university.

I'm so so. I'm having to repeat a semester of highschool because of sickness, actually. XD I'm doing it online, so it's not so bad.

Sorry to hear that you have to repeat your semester as well. It's good that you're still able to spend time with friends, though.

We play Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay at least once in a week - no computers there, that is a great relief

It's still relatively new in the U.S., I believe. (Luckily, my state has it available!)
And indeed, it has online teachers (with their emails and profiles available). Lessons and assignments are done online, too. (Some you have to type and send as files attached in emails and whatnot, but it's all on the computer.) With my classes, I'm required to contact my teachers by telephone once a week, I believe. I imagine some of them must do live video calls, but, alas, I don't have a webcam! D:

And I've never heard of that roleplaying game before...is it similar to Dungeons and Dragons?

It sounds pretty useful. We have a bit similar thingies used in language courses and e-studies, like university mostly over the internet. In the latter, anyway, you are also required to be present on some traditionals lectures and tests - once in a month, I believe.
Nevertheless, it must be very convenient for you

Yup, it's smilar to D&D, althought Warhammer is not heroic fantasy. So if you have bad luck, regular farmer can kill your champion. The world is darker and fighting is usually worse solution than fleeing... Like for example during our last big fight with doppelganger and four mercenaries, our team of dwarven veteran (that's me! ), priest of Morr, bard and thief was almost completely wiped out (I was the only one standing, but in the end somehow I managed to kill all those badies).

And do you like/play D&D?

That sounds a bit similar to the set up I've got over here. Once the summer vacation ends and the traditional school year starts back up, I'll have to go in to a "physical" school for certain exams, I think. (Like FCATs and SATs...you probably have something similar in Poland? Sorry for my ignorance. XP)

And no. D: I've never played D&D, actually. (I don't think I even know anyone who plays it.) I've tried playing a few online roleplaying games, but I can never stick with them long enough for anything cool to happen. (Like Runescape. UGH...once I got past the tutorial levels on there, I was sick of the game entirely. lol)

Yup, it sounds similar. I know what SAT is, but FCAT I had to check pretty much every country has its own education assessing systems, I don't think it's ignorance We have national tests during last semester of every school, that is in sixth grade, ninth grade, and twelfth grade. Scores from those tests affect your recrutation points. Only the last one (called "matura") consists of parts you pick up by yourself (advanced and basic levels of all classes you could take), and scores from certain parts are recalculated by universities to create a ranking list of candidates. Sounds a bit complicated... nevertheless the rules of matura are changed every two years recently. I have passed it in 2008, now it's completely different.

Yeah, it's dark, and very, very nice to play - almost as atmospheric as the World of Darkness

Well, the 'classic' role playing games differ a lot from those MMORPGs, which I find quite boring as well with one exception of Lineage 2, which I was playing for whole summer a few years ago.

It's too bad stuff like that isn't popular among the kids where I live. I always thought that non-computer roleplaying looked interesting.. It seems to fall in the realm of story building more than "gaming" or what have you? ( But then again, I don't know very much. :/)

Yup, it's mostly about storytelling (with the sad exception of D&D...). You don't roll the dices every once in a while, you just focus on... being, literally being your alter ego. You shall feel the same, talk the same, think the same... With a good game master (kind of narrator) and decent players, it is actually possible. Hence it is not about another level, experience points... it is about living another life. Surviving. Maybe doing something meaningful...

Shortly speaking, I love it!

Yesterday I was mastering a World of Darkness game. It was quite scary... as a matter of fact, my friend was actually terrified. Like, "OMG what the HELL is going on here ", and I myself was a bit afraid to go to sleep

Is World of Darkness anything like a "live action" roleplay? Like, where people actually dress up and use props and whatnot, (like fake swords and shields, etc.)? Or is it more like a sit-down, albeit somewhat theatrical, discussion?

And what had happened during that "session" that was so terrifying exactly? ('Though, that's probably a bit of a lengthy explanation, huh? XD)

Actually you can live action role play most fantasy games, but the ones which action is taking place in modern times, especially with all this supernatural stuff like vampires, werewolves, etc, are pretty much impossible to play this way. So it is, indeed, sit-down, but more of narration than discussion - one has to describe everything he does as well as speak for oneself.

Well, bascially the World of Darkness is our world but with addition of supernatural beings - vampires, werewolves, mages, changelings, and some other. Every discovered effect of their actions, impossible to be taken by normal human, are scary. I'll write you almost exact story in the evening, for I have to go to work
