Im okay, trying just to be normal when I can. Martin kept me company friday and saturday night. We watched The Da Vinci Code, which was nice. But to be honest I feel like my world has been torn apart and it hurts more than anythign ever has. I know I have to get passed it, but I cant help but feel this is a cruel world.

Thank you for the numbers, Im not sure what anyone can do but just the contact and thoughts are helping.

its awfull and you have every right to feel like that
but it will get easyer - takes time and the more you force youself to be ok the worse ull feel
take the time to just "be" you wont feel better instantly talk about how your feeling tho to anyone cos it will help even if your just babbleing call me any time x i will lissen x
im glad you and martin had a night in you need it and martin is the best distraction...

as soon as i read the paper article i wasent 100% sure it was him i called martin and told him
just like anyone who knew him - you cry. its the healthy reaction any way call me any time xxx

Thank you for the advise Reece, what you say makes sence and I think sometimes you just need people to tell you these things to help you through.

I felt guilty earlier because Alex started comming home from work later, because he had to take me to work in the morning. I felt awful, thinking he wouldnt have been there at that time if it werent for me. But my mum talked me through it. Im glad I didnt bottle it up.

Hope you have seen the new tribute articles with the smiley photograph of Alex. I wasnt pleased with the Express & Star, they printed many wrongs, including how Alex died. The other papers have been nice, I wanted people to know who Alex was and see his wonderful smile.

i havent seen the new article..where abouts is it? you shouldent feel guilty. not at all.
he is/was such a kind careing person that he whould want to do it for you.
(im sorry im still never ever sure how to address talk about someone whos died)

one of the last thing alex said to me he was offering me some web space. as he thurt i was pay way too much for mine. that and that we should go somewhere and do some photos

i wish i had taken him up on that.

any way im allways around if you wanna talk

and ermmm rach i just want to say its ok to miss him. it will get easyer

They have been in the Burntwood and Chase Post, Mercury and Chronicle I think, and the Express and Star. But I didnt like the photo in the Express and Star at all. Alex had a wonderful huge smile and thats what Id like people to see. The photo they used was so old and serious.

I know its hard sometimes to know how to speak of someone who's passed away. Sometimes I talk about him as though he is still here. I always say 'I love him' rather than 'loved' because I still do more than words can say and always will. I like to keep saying Alex's name too because Im proud to have known him and dont want anyone to forget him or fear saying his name.

That was a kind thing he offered to do for you. Alex was such a bold charecter but had the most wonderful heart.
