I saw the new Star Wars movie the day before Christmas Eve and I enjoyed it more than I did for Episode 8 (which was a mixed bag for me).

If you haven't seen it, I won't spoil anything.

I liked that 9 had stronger pacing than 8. My sister said that she liked how it focused on the established characters more, and I agreed with that. I loved the environment designs for the planets as well.

But I do wish that the Knights of Ren had more screen time. I was looking forward to seeing them.

However, there is going to be a short comic titled "The Rise of Kylo Ren", so maybe they'll have spotlight there.

I'm excited to watch The Mandalorian. But I'll likely wait until the first season (or the general series) gets a DVD release, or more episodes are available. I've seen a lot of praise for the series, and that's a good sign.

Yes, that was awkward.

I did like the footage they saved with Carrie Fisher, though. It worked well into the film.

I am looking forward to watching The Mandolorian series; I've read nothing but praise for it.

Oh, I've been meaning to ask you- this is SW but have you seen the movie Mandy? It's one of my favorites from 2018.
