omg, so that picture that you linked me of the 360 of Kili's costume -- his quiver is RIDICULOUS, it only works if the bow is strung when he's carrying it, which (PROTIP!) you're not supposed to do.
S'not going to stop me from making one anyway, mind you. omg I have eleventy billion orders, but as soon as I get through the queue I'm going to figure out resin casting and then make some REALLY excellent replicas.

XD I did a little archery when I was younger. My sister loved it. I wasn't good and didn't care for it. But that is the one thing that I remember. Never leave your bow strung.
