Hey don chuck , your works are all awesome stuff. I just started working for this tattoo parlour here in Malaysia and I was looking for inspiration for their posters and I found you.

You have the best poster designs for tattoo parlours I swear. Are you a tattoo artist yourself ?

YOU SHOULD OMG. you should get an apprenticeship or something seriously.. you have flash books for tattoos and wow

rbbrmlk In reply to donchuckcarvalho [2009-05-31 17:02:28 +0000 UTC]

two specific style ? what do you mean ? lining and shading ? or different art styles ? I see you like old school. I like old school , are you selling all the flash books ? I thought of getting one. you're from brazil ? How much is it for a book ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

donchuckcarvalho In reply to rbbrmlk [2009-05-31 17:18:27 +0000 UTC]

two styles traditional (oldschool) and neo-traditional

my stuf are for sale at lulu.com and zazzle.com

the book on look:

all the other things:

I cant produce anything here in Brazil to sell outside the country because the taxes here to export and the work which i have to send and everything else its to much, so I keep things in my foreigns site, much easier and dont have much problem sending things

She doesn't exactly update all too often.

And relief printing isn't that hard, it's actually pretty easy. You don't really need a press for it either. I'll cook something up just for you when I have the time.

I found out actually hahahah [link] is it something like that ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DoSomething In reply to rbbrmlk [2009-04-15 02:33:51 +0000 UTC]

yeah, that's relief. The hard part is knowing how much ink to spread on the plate which is something you just sorta figure out over time, and then carving can be pretty hard depending on what you're using. Linoleum has a shelf life of like 3 or so years, so eventually it'll deteriorate. If you want your plates to last longer, wood (mahogany or a softwood) works just as well, if not better. And you can print using just about anything that will apply pressure to the paper (be sure to apply the pressure to the paper itself).

Happy printing!
