I am making one myself for a friend of mine, my mum has recognized this stitch and taught me to use it. Thank you much for inspiring me to make such gift for Christmas! Crafting of wool is great fun itself, not only wearing.

Currently not, but maybe I will give gloves or socks a try.
And I'm addicted already, I sometimes start after supper and after a moment I realize it's 2 AM

The girl that will get the scarf is in love with Malfoy.
I personally would prefer a Gryffindor one.
One question- in your slytherin scarf, did you make the strips regular, or not? If not, which color dominates?

Oh no! XD I'm a Slytherin, and my best friend is a Gryffindor. That is just too funny! Well, I'm not completely done with my Slytherin scarf yet. . . but it looks like the Gryffindor one, just with green being the main colour, and silver is used for the stripe.
