Thanks for that incredible boost to my confidence. I need to spend a bit more time out in the sun to bring that red out again. It gets pretty dark in the winter.

I need to find some good photos of bluebonnets since I believe drag0nheart missed his chance this year to take some good shots for me. *sigh* I've never seen one close up. How sad is that?

Speaking of photos, you should take some portrait shots of your horses. How far from Dallas are you? I'm sure my husband would love to take them for you if you don't want to. I bet they're beautiful!

Thank you so much for all the comments. Soon, spring will be over and I'll get out of the flower rut (maybe). I need to get away from pink, since it's actually one of my least favorite colors. It just seems to go so well with the flowers. I need to find some bluebonnets or something, maybe a cactus or two.

Thanks for the comments! On that pencil drawing, the lines in the heart - that's one of my favorite techniques I learned in art class in high school. I turned in a really lame piece with that on it in college and the prof thought it was neat. That told me quite a bit about this prof. Feh. I just need to have the patience to do those lines cleanly. Maybe I'll pull out the sketchbook and show you just how lame the one I turned in in college was.

I love my scanner! And, what's even better, I know how to fix it if something goes wrong. I am a scanner goddess. Try scanning with the lid open sometime. I used to do it at work all the time when I was scanning with a customer.

I appreciate the words of encouragement on the ID. What was it about the last one you liked? It was a bit too chaotic for me. I tend to go for a more simplistic look. This new one is almost too simple though. I'll work on a new one soon.

Btw, I absolutely love your cam! I want to see the horses! When I was a kid, we had some neighbors down the road who had horses (this was odd since we were right behind city hall) and I used to help take care of them so I could ride. I miss it so much. The worst part was cleaning the stables. Yuck.

Dang, feeling a bit verbose tonight I suppose. Time for those allergy meds and my pillow. Thanks again!!
