You need to give yourself come credit. It has nothing to do with kindness, as I am selective about what works I favourite, and don't do so indiscriminately. I favourited your work because it was, in my opinion, one of the best I've seen on deviantART. So thank you for creating it.

Digital 3-D art holds a certain appeal for me due to the work it takes to make it look realistic, like an actual human being. My own medium of choice is pencil and paper, but I have an appreciation for all artists.

I really appreciate the time you have taken to write such nice and encouraging words here. Giving myself any credit is a hard thing to do. I suppose it's the artists temperament. At best, I'm satisfied with a picture....at worst I think "Right, that's it...time to give this up and do something else". I never think "I'm pleased with that" so it is always a treat for me when people say nice things about my art and I think the least I can do in return is offer my gratitude. It really does mean a lot to hear things that are heartfelt and genuine. That is what has been so refreshing to me about DeviantArt. Artists do take the time to encourage each other, whereas other galleries I have been a part of are full of jealousy and spite.

Again, thank you very much for your comments and your kindness. I hope somewhere down the line I produce something else that you enjoy equally as much as that picture.
