I'm having trouble with mine, too. You know how it sounds when your headphones are starting to go bad? It sounds like that...no matter what headphones I use.

It might be the jack where the headphones plug into has something wrong with it. Mine just totally lost the ability to charge, and my computer doesn't recognize it as a device anymore =/ so I figure something went wrong with my Zen's firmware.
