I still get on every couple weeks and check what people I follow have put up, but I don't really upload anything of mine. I just felt like it wasn't really too rewarding for me..... I haven't uploaded anything in YEARS........
I'm on tumblr, though! and I upload drawings to there sometimes.

I know what you mean, there's always little to no feedback. It doesn't feel rewarding to me either,
but I can't get used to other sites and I don't feel like my drawings are good enough anyway.

-I was living in the Netherlands and moved back to Brazil like four days ago. University started right away and I'm a little stressed out because of it.
and my family keeps bitching about everything, but eh, I don't feel like complaining about the world to a friend I havent seen in ages. Asides from the bits of stress, I'm all good~!

wow that's a big transition. I studied abroad from april to august, but my university starts in a couple weeks, so at least I got a little time to rest and relax. P: why'd you have to move from the netherlands to brazil?
I'm good! I'm relaxing and hanging out with friends pretty much every day. I move into my first apartment next week, and classes start the week after that! I'm starting classes on teaching, so I'm excited

Oh, I'm Brazilian, I moved to the Netherlands to live with my boyfriend, but living there was a little bit too expensive since 1EUR equals little more than 3.20BRL (university there would cost right over 150k in my currency). I couldn't really get used to the place/food and I couldn't get a job, speaking only english and understanding very little bits of dutch. So I came back to study, get a job, graduate and try to go back with a little bit more of money and certificates.
No time to relax over here, already got exams scheduled and five assignments for next week.Whee!

-Teaching? Cool! o 3 o) watcha gonna teach? I'm studying gamedesign. :3

ah, that's rough Next time, though, you'll know what to expect and you'll be ready!
I want to teach english in Japan, or Japanese in the US. I plan on applying to a program, once I've graduated, that would get me a job teaching English in Japan for however long I want (minimum is one year). If I'm accepted, I'll move to Japan for a couple years, then come back to the states to teach Japanese.

I wonder how hard that's going to be. I remember my japanese teacher going "It's not cookie, say it correctly, kuuki! It's not coffee, say it like koohii!"
Will it be the other way around for you? :>
Good luck with all of it, specially moving to Japan, though. Will you get to request a working pass when you graduate, or do you have to apply for a job and request one? I don't know how these things work.

the japanese teachers I've had haven't said anything like that, but I ALWAYS think it. because some japanese words are based on english words, my classmates will halfass the pronunciation. like, for basketball, they'll say "basketto baaru" instead of "basketto booru." i don't know if they know that they're not pronouncing the words right, but it just seems lazy to me. :\
I don't know, honestly. I think the organization I'm trying to get in to will set everything up for me if I get in. I'm sure I'll have to fill out a ton of forms, but they'll tell me what to do and how to do it.

Maybe it's hard for them to pronounce? I had a really really hard time saying kuuki instead of cookie. I remember staying behind for like six whole lessons because of it. My teacher would not accept any other kind of pronounciation and would greatly decrease my scores, just so we could go over it over and over again. 
Awesome if they do help you with that. I don't think that kind of help is even possible over here if the student (or student's parents) is not japanese.
