I don't want to get stuck doing any one style of photography. I have basically just started shooting and I still have a lot to learn and a long way to go until I'm satisfied with my work. After looking through your gallery (found it through the main DA page), I've noticed something that your models have in common, save a couple. They look so uncomfortable! I've done work like this in the past so I know how weird it can be at first, but sheesh!
And for those who can't stand your gallery because of whatever reason....I think they might forget that these girls actually choose to do this type of work. They aren't exactly forced...

Just to let you know sweetie, the women that have posed for me have never modeled before. You're right, they weren't forced, but they did enjoy the experience. Maybe I ought to have them joyfully frolicking nude around on a beach with a big smile or something, just for your approval.
I don't understand what the point of your negative comments is or was. But sweetie pie, instead of worrying about other photographers work, maybe you should worry about your own. Now it would be different if you were a talented artist, but you have a ways to go before you reach that stage.

Yeah, you totally misconstrued that as a negative comment, I was actually defending you in that last part after reading some of the crazy comments other people had written. And really, I never criticized anything you did as a photographer...just commenting on the models you've worked with.
And really, I've done my fair share of nude modeling (I don't have it posted anymore because I no longer do that type of work)...so really, if you're going to talk like that you should do your homework.
Also, I don't consider myself to be a professional photographer by any means...so your "no talent" comment doesn't really phase me.

LOL. Wow, great post. I couldn't have said it better myself. I feel and have pity for zealots. I know that its because of a deep underlying hurt that creates that state of mind. I have found that kind of thinking is too ingrained into their being to try to make them think and see things differently. The message that they sent me kind of blew me away. We don't talk to strangers like that here in Texas. We try to give people a little more respect than that. Of course unless they are trying to steal are horse or cattle. But thanks for coming to my defense.

And as an FYI, especially for the fem nazi flaming this artist... my wife who is as liberated as you can get does not see this man's gallery as porn or female exploitation. Men that can appreciate the beauty and maybe have fantasies about nailing one of them. This isn't the for sensitive girlie men that are in your life. You didn't offend me at all, I've had too many positive comments about my pics for your comments to have an impact on my fragile ego. You women with you're remarks about being disrespectful, about my pics being porn, about whether my pics are art, you have to realize that not everyone thinks like you do. Yes, you are entitled to your opinions, but you have to realize that your opinions might make you look foolish and close minded. Art is in the eyes of the beholder, and you as an artist should realize that. What if I left a you a comment saying something like "You Mistress Tate, I find your that your stuff is junk and your not a real artist because a real artist would never use a computer".
You're more than welcome to leave a comment anytime you like, but don't expect a hear a positive reply when you leave a negative comment.

Now you might what to sit down before you read this. But there are some women who are not as uptight as you about their bodies and feel that their body's are a gift to man.
