Howdy! It's really good to hear from you. I've taken a web development job for now. I'm hoping to pick up some transferable UI and programming workflow knowledge. The arting took a bit of a back seat while I was getting used to the job, so I'm only just starting to catch up a bit now. I have a few old projects sitting on my hard-drive to finish.

I'm hanging in there, work is crazy busy but in all honesty it feels like a sinking ship because our profitability is wavering and we had to refinance with a new Board of Directors (ooooh :o (Eek) ). I'm growing into Quality management but steering towards R&D which is not my career interest. Our group of 8 ppl has about 20 R&D projects that have never been closed in the entire time I've worked there. Closure feels good, but not getting any for prolonged periods of time feels ... uggh. Dilbert comics sum it up accurately. But, aside from that I'm spending my spare time either helping Juan learn more skills (he has limited English since he came here from Brazil), wandering aimlessly around town with him or lazing about playing Pokemon Ultra Moon. It feels good to be a bit lazier than I used to be in my off-work time, and I'm starting to get back to my old self again. I plan to take some time off work in the coming months to de-frag a bit.

Seen this? 3/7/2017 - About UK UniversitiesHappy July! I got my results back from the university and now I'm free to continue onward to the next year (like that was ever in question) of my computing degree :D (Big Grin)
A little fact for you, in my area there are two main universities. One used to be a technical college and the other has been a university for over 100 years. In the UK there is a difference between colleges and universities. Colleges cannot provide courses above level 3 without working with a university in order to do so. The only academic institutions that can provide degrees are universities. As a result, there are many colleges who either work closely with various universities, or who manage to get university status themselves.
When I originally left my college (who validated their courses via a few different universities) I had two options. Because my HND (level 5 qualification) was validated by one university, I was pretty much guaranteed to be accepted there. However, the other university is larger, has the bett
