Based on the dates from your gallery, looks like you might not be around anymore, but nonetheless, you have some really great stuff. Keep up the great work!

Hey, Robin!
Great to hear from you! What are you up to now? Not lying down on Shaw Blvd. on a dare, I hope!
As a matter of fact, I draw for a living now (after a 15-year career in infotech). Doing very well and enjoy it much more!

I really liked your updated Darna costume. it was a simple change, but looked great. I would love this to become an official change.

As per Ian's suggestion, I googled you and I had finally found your gallery at deviantART. Nice to see how far you have come with your comic art.

Your style is very reminisent to that of European masters. I see the Brian Bolland influence is very strong.
Too bad this style is so under appreciated in favor of the more common 'American comics' style.
Great Stuff.

Great stuff!
Voltes5 will always make me nostalgic. (sigh)
I really like your clean, classic art style.
There's so much beauty in simple line art.

Saw your Gladiatrix on digitalwebbing and I had to come take a better look at your stuff. I especially like the Neal Adams tribute, Batman looks so far gone that I'd be surprised if Catwoman could save him and that's EXACTLY the role that Adams (and many other masters) tried to convey in their covers to get the readers to open up the book and explore further. Great job, and to quote Jack Black, "You've got it. And I don't even know what it is, but you've got it."

Hi, sooperman24,
Thanks for the comments on the Batman cover -- I really miss those old 70's covers that exaggerated the story inside. Seems most comic books today are just painted pin-ups. It's a lost art -- like old vinyl album covers.

I think it may have even sparked myself to try something like it. We'll see. Yes, the vinyl album covers were terrific, trippy and out there enough to have nothing and everything to do with the album itself. Have you seen the cover to the recent album by The Darkness? Vintage stuff. The record kicks much ass, too, at least seven different kinds.

You have some outstandig owork in your small (so far) gallery. I came over from Digital Webbing and I love your stuff so far. Logan the Ape-Man is the highlight so far, but it's in very good company.

thanks, wolf! I'd probably put some digital paintings in the future. Am trying to experiment with multiple techniques, though right now I'm very comfortable with pencil/ink/line work.
