Jorge Luis Borges, but he is high literature. Quite advanced. Then If you are into more dramatic romantic historical kind of thing I recommend something far easier like Florencia Bonelli.

Weird, there actually was a book by Bonelli in our local library but I think that's a bit too much like the Barbara Cartland books my Granny read ~ bit light but my sister would probably like it.
I also came across some good Argentinian detective books by Ernesto Mallo - a bookshop in Kilkenny had a few stories by him and a detective story called "Six Problems for Don Isidro Parodi " and a decent english copy of Los nueve murtes del Padre Metri by Jeronomo Rey, a really good story that is much like G.K. Chesterton's Father Brown mysteries but Rey refers to lots of local culture, you get the sense that the author has real affection for his home country.
I didn't know there was an Irish-Argentinian author as well Rodolfo Jorge Walsh, just came across the name in another book, is he supposed to be any good?

Yea, Bonelli is more like what you said, I mentioned her because its for beginners more into fiction-history-romances.
Lets see which books I have, I have more history books than novels. But lets see my library...Jorge Luis Borges, go for it, you seem like you can manage that level. Then, Miguel Cané, Julio Cortazar (amazing), Alfonsina Storni. I read way older books and letters XD

It's the time of year that's good for sitting in with a good book, at the moment here in Ireland it's like being stuck inside a laundry machine with the heavy rain, all the bookshops are still filled to the ceilings with books about the 1916 Easter Rising against the British Empire and it's boring as hell.

Latinomarican writers are always a good choice, Speaking about Cortazar, Borges, Gabriel García Márquez. All the guys from those days.

Some Spanish ones are good like Arturo Perez Reverte - The Dumas Club & the surreal supernatural The Ninth Gate, his Captain Alatriste stories are very good set during the days of the Spanish Tercios. Think of something like Dumas The Three Musketeers but with the political shenanigans, treachery and back-stabbing left in
One of Reverte's books is called The Sun over Breda which also mentions the painting The Surrender of Breda by Diego Velazquez, the author claims in the book that Diego painted Captain Alatriste as one of the people in the background of the painting, since I also like art I thought it was thrilling especially since there's a copy of the painting up in Dublin.
Fortunately there's been a bunch of new books out like the sequel to Jules Verne's The Mysterious Island

La historia de estos dos es muy tierna- porque tiene todo un desarrollo emocional por parte de ambos- pero todo generalmente termina muy mal, sufren el síndrome del cuerpo-espín. Con acercarse solo le lastiman. A lo largo de la historia se harán mucho daño, intentaran volver a acercarse, y se lastimaran de nuevo.
Por eso les dedico la canción "almost lover".
Pero en si; básicamente eso ocurre con casi todos ellos al pasar los años.
Pero con Manuel y Noemi es muy especial por todo lo que la vida los lleva a acontecer y realizar; como declararse enemigos a pesar de todo. Cosas muy fuertes en varios puntos de la historia personal de ambos, estos dos son los primeros en demostrar cierto romanticismo, por lo tanto en demostrar celos, sentimientos de abandono y actitudes de rabia al respecto.
Hay cosas que simplemente pueden ser; pero para estos nenes las cosas no funcionan así.

esta canción la escuche gracia a tu vídeo de chile y peru y siempre quise saber que es lo que decía pero nunca lo encontré en sub español pero ahora que me distes el nombre de la canción busque y leí lo que decía y me conmovió en verdad ahora entiendo por que dedicas esa canción a ellos
