Hey this is completely random, but what are your thoughts on Fawkes from Harry Potter?
I honestly thought he would come back in the battle of Hogwarts and help Harry, and eventually stay with Harry. I was actually surprisingly very disappointed we never saw him again. I realize that phoenix only really bond with one person, and that they are hard to master. Fawkes represented Dumbledore's mastery and skills, and ultimately represented Dumbledore, which is why we never saw him again after Dumbledore dies, but I mean come on haha Idk I just really thought he would play a big part later.

Lol just kidding, I do love him bc Albus is my absolute favorite and I was OBSESSED with phoenixes as a kid (why do I try to sound like I’m not still obsessed).
Now regarding what you say, I didn’t expect him to come back, mainly because I had never thought of that possibility, but now, thinking about it (and I’m sorry but I can’t help but add some The Crimes of Grindelwald info) I’m actually happy he didn’t.
As you said, Fawkes ultimately represented Albus, and I don’t think we needed more of him, since we got the whole “King’s cross but cleaner” scene, which I think was a beautiful way to showcase one last bit of Albus before everything ended, and very on character for Albus to be helpful but in an indirect way.
I also think it could have been a bit repetitive, since Fawkes had already heroically saved Harry’s ass back in the chamber (and all I can picture him doing in the battle is killing Nagini).
And finally, and here is where FB TCoG comes to play, you probably don’t like it lol, but I love the fact that the Dumbledore family is related to phoenixes somewhat like the Slytherin family is related to snakes, and considering that phoenixes only bond to one master as you said, and the fact that Albus commented how his Grandfather’s Phoenix left “never to return” once he had died, I don’t think it would be very likely for him to appear again, and I would prefer it like that.

I always found dumbledore to be overrated, but I REALLY enjoy his background story. I find him odd and a bit obnoxious actually, he was always just in the background, sort of a looming as the high and powerful guy, but we did see he was pretty humble still. Idk I just never connected with him until the last book, I really enjoyed his story and wished we would have seen more of it and heard more from Dumbledore while still alive. It would have really added depth to his character, but I guess that was sort of the point.

That is true, him being a bit repetitive, and even having him take a hit to save Harry or something, that was Hedwig's scene, AND Fawkes did that in OotP to save Dumbledore, so maybe it was just he had his moments in the sun.
True true, all valid points. Idk I guess I just liked the idea of it, but not everything was tied up with a nice neat ribbon.
Also I never saw TCoG, I HATED Fantastic Beasts, so I doubt I'll watch any more. Maybe I will eventually, Idk

Ooff, if you hated FBaWTFT that much, I would strongly suggest you NOT to watch TCoG.
I really loved FB1, and I still enjoyed TCoG a lot, but there are a few things that are just... unnecessary.
They broke the canon, which I don’t think I’ll be able to forgive or forget, and the cliffhanger at the end was a tiny little bit too much. It’s a delicate matter, and if it is mishandled, this saga is just going to be TCC all over again.

Squirtle has always been my choice start of the trio and Blastoise is one of my favourite Pokemon. I had hoped when he received a Mega Evolution, that it'd be a Steel type, and was dissapointed when it wasn't lol.
