okay, some basic things. When you're signed in, you have a toolbar at the top with a bunch of links. It's always under the main title/banner thing and starts with the word "Deviant" and then your screen name (my case, ~araia-finley). It's easier to help you in person, so we'll work on that as well. Anyway, about that toolbar...
Your name: takes you to your page.
(# of) new messages: takes you to your message box where you can check your deviant watches, notes, comments, and messages.
Notes: I believe this will take you to the notes part of your messages. not sure.
Journal: where you can write your journal entries and have them posted on your main page.
Settings: You've figured some of these out all ready from the looks of things, but you can change various things here. *killed for vagueness* like your avatar (the little icon that accompanies all your comments and occupies the upper right hand corner of your main page.
Help: leads to a FAQ and a couple of other things...? Exactly what it says, really.
Logout: like signing out of your email.
I don't know much about this new version of da - not many people I've encountered do, but i'll help you along as best as I can. Logged on you'll find a button that reads "Submit" and that's how you add art and things to your archive, from poetry to art to stories... be patient and good luck. I'll send you help through your notes from now on, but i wasn't sure if you'd found that yet.
