Cool! What is the significance of turning the picture gray by the way in the beginning step you show posted on that particular post? I've seen a lot of artist do this and I was wondering why?

i dunno with other artist, but i ussually use the gray for lock the layer, i color them gray, lock the layer and add base color on the same layer (using brush and bucket tool). it will be faster than base it part by part :) (Smile)
(anyway i'm using photoshop here)

Ah I see! My life would have been so much easier if I had known about the lock tool a while ago! Woah! Well thanks for the advice and stuff! I use gimp, it is a lot like photoshop but free! I also use paint tool sai!
